Is it true that passengers on board the Magic no longer have to go through early morning immigration in St. Thomas? I will be on the Feb. 23 sailing and was just dreading having to get up and do immigration. If this is true, please let me know!!!

Thanks in advance for your help!!

It's true!!!

We were on the 2/2/2 Magic and US citizens DID NOT have to go through immigration in St. Thomas:D

YIPEE!!!! I was already dreading that early morning for our March 16 cruise!!!!!

BIL is a citizen of England (?).....would he still have to do the immigration........and I am thinking, at his liesure, when we leave the ship???

Lisa,

My husband is also British. Your BIL will still have to be up at the crack of dawn and present himself to an immigration officer. He can't pick a time to go. All non-US citizens are told a time to go (I believe it was 6:30am on our cruise). The reason is that all non-US citizens have to clear immigrations before ANYONE (US citizen or not) can get off the ship.
