No more grilling outside

I grill 24/7 365!!!!!! Last year I grilled as a small tornado(or so the locals say) came through the area. I stood there and watched as the wind threw our patio swing, that had foot long spikes anchoring it in the ground, into our koi pond. I either love to grill, or am just crazy  !!!!

OK everyone, my husband read this thread, and we are now under negotiations of moving the grill up to our deck so we can grill outside this winter! Woo-hoo! Thanks, you guys! :flower:

My DH does the grilling outside all year long!! We just have to keep the snow off the patio so that he can open the back garage door to get the grill out! His specialty is cooking a turkey on the grill Christmas day!! :earsboy:

We grill all year long here also. Nothing like watching the snowflakes melt on the cover to the grill.

I do have a question. How do you cook a turkey on the grill??? It sounds yummy, and leaves more room in the oven for the fattening stuff.

As always - we are here to help!

We grill year-round, too. Rain, snow, we don't care. If its raining, DH just makes me hold the umbrella over him when he moves the food around or is carrying it in.

For grilling our turkey DH prepares it just like putting it in the oven...stuffing and all. He puts it in one of those aluminum disposeable pans and places it right on our gas grill and cooks it just like in the oven. It turns out so moist and leaves me room in my oven for all the other stuff. It is great you should try it sometime!!

We grill all year long in Pa. Or should I say Dh does. He is a dear and loves his BBQ.

Kaybee,
How long do you know how to cook it, and do you just have the grill on High?

We use our grill all year long. When it snows I just moved it closer to the sliding glass door and make a little path. One year we were laying tile in the kitchen and we lived off the grill for about two days until we could put our stove back in the kitchen.

I keep my back deck shoveled off so I can grill during the winter!!! It's NEVER too cold to grill :teeth: I grill in the rain too... I just keep an umbrella handy!

come on!! singalong with me!!! Grilling in the snow, just a grilling in the snow,

many years we do steaks on the grill for christmas-eve. Dh thought I was nuts when we first got married because I came from a family that would grill out all year round (we live in Indiana). He is now a year round griller!

LOL, we are in upstate NY and still grill even with 5 feet of snow and neg temps. DH is happy we moved on base since we have a covered balcony in this housing LOL.

We're year round grillers in NH. It doesn't happen as often in the winter, but we do still use the grill.
