No more front row request on Rip Ride Rockit?

If you are good on hulk and dueling dragons you like RRR. It's much more tame than the other two.

I would agree. If you can handle Hulk and DD, you should be fine with RRR! I think it looks scarier from the ground (the initial hill). There is a lot of air time (negative Gs) in RRR which is why I love it.

Since we have a bunch of RRR fans here - I've never ridden it because it scares the %^&($ out of me just to look at it, especially the beginning.

Hulk and Dueling Dragons are right at the edge of what I can handle, and I enjoy Krakken, once I figured out not to look down. Do you guys think I'd be all right on RRR? Or is it too different to compare?

Sounds like if/when I do ride, I should at least ask for the front half of the train.

Thanks.

I would absolutely ask for the front rows..........much smoother, as the back can make you feel you're on the bumpiest track to hell and back!!!

The anticipation of the climb was what was the worst thing for me......took me ages the very first time.....lol.....it takes 13 seconds to climb to the top and then you're off........the drop is so smooth........took me by surprise how smooth it was.......the rest is just fun.........but like others said if you can do The Hulk and DD.......you'll be fine with RRR.......

I adore the climb now.........one of my favourite bits.........

If the music doesn't work, mention it to a TM when you're getting off, and they'll almost always let you ride again. I was there this past December, and my husband's seat's screen wasn't working, so he didn't have music. He mentioned it to a TM as just an FYI when we got off, and the TM was super nice and immediately asked if he wanted to ride again, and sent our group up the stairs by the TM booth and we got to ride again! The next day, my screen didn't work, and a TM noticed as he was checking my seat and told us to ride again right after we got off. The same thing happened to several of our friends the week after :thumbsup2

Great to know! I should have pointed it out as an FYI to them anyway.

We were there the first week of February. We rode it our first day and requested front row seats from EP line. We had to wait for the next car, but were allowed front row. Crowds were very light that day, EP was nearly a walk on for almost every ride and we were able to ride everything we wanted in both parks in one day (and asked for and were granted front row on most of them).
We rode again on our last day. Crowds were heavier and even EP lines were around a 20-30 min wait. We asked for front row and were told very nicely they couldn't allow us to wait for it. We were towards the back and it was super rough, my neck was sore afterwards. So I think it just depends on how busy it is and how quickly they just want to get people through.

There wasn't a line just for the front when we did it last, this past Nov/Dec. My husband and daughter did it 3 times them. Twice, they put them in the front anyway. Once they told them to pick any row and they picked the front. However, we went during the off-season - when EP wasn't needed either. (I think they didn't use EP the first time but did the next two times, though there were no lines any of the three times).

There's never been an official seperate line for front row on RRR.........you just ask the TM and sometimes they set you to the side till the next cars come along.
