I think you can email guest services til the cows come home and the answer will be no.
The true indicator will be the reports of others successfully getting their tickets in the days right before you leave.
I agree, but as with anything Disney, all their policies are subject to change at a moment's notice so someone being allowed to get them today does not mean someone will get them tomorrow.
IMO, anyone who needs to have the tickets early should at least have a back up plan in case when they arrive, they are told no. Nothing worse, IMO, of getting to WDW and starting out the trip with an unplanned glitch.
