My ADR's open up tomorrow morning and I was playing around with times for less busy weeks in the beginning of November.

It would seem that you cannot book a breakfast any earlier than park opening at any location.

When did that change? I though a few of the venues (such as CRT) opened prior to RD.
:confused3

I was able to book CRT on 11/18 before park opens, as well as tusker house at ak on 11/24 before park opens, so not sure, maybe something wrong with booking right now? :confused3

I just tried 11/9 and 11/16 (Fridays) for 8 AM...all 4 parks, all character meals plus Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom all had multiple openings for 8:05-9:00 AM including The Castle, Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Akershus, and Hollywood & Vine. I tried party of 2 and party of 4.

Were you trying for a large party size?

Or maybe the system was just whacky at the particular time you were trying...it's been known to happen with Disney website:lmao:

I have several booked for my Oct/Nov stay so maybe its just a glitch at the moment

I to have early ADRs as well, made them primarily to get pics of the parks without people in the shots.

It was for a party of 5.

I tried various days and the earliest times coincided with the opening of the park.

Strange, perhaps it's because on those days I don't have a resort package for that day?

I'd love to do a 8am breakfast on a 9am MK opening day. Getting some shots in front of the castle while it isn't packed ect. ect.

Just tried it again

Could it possibly be that those weeks in Nov are already booked that earluy in the AM?

I wouldn't think so, but I need a plan for tomorrow.

edit:
I tried again and there is one table that day for 8:40 now (park opens at 9 that day)-

Nothing else though... perhaps it's a busy week?

Bizarre. Ah well, anyone know if I can book two reservations? One for 2 people and one for 3 people at the same time (assuming they are available)? I'd hate for us to all not eat at the same table but we want to be in the park extra early at least one day on the trip.

I've found that the pre-park opening slots for certain restaurants can go pretty quickly and a party of 5 is definitely more difficult to book than a party of 4. If you search a little closer to the current 180th day you'll find a little more open. In fact, I just search 11/17 for a party of 5 and found an 8:15a for Crystal Palace. Ultimately, if you're booking right at your 180 mark I think you should be fine. I had mine last Sunday and while I was fretting over Crystal Palace, I had no problem getting the 8:05a for my family. Of course I've since dropped it b/c DH gave me the whole "Again? Let's try something new" :rolleyes1 I was more shocked that places like Tutto Italia (which I've also since dropped) and 50s PT were the ones where I had to settle. Oh well- I think I'm happy with all that I have...after changing things out 30+ times over the last week. :rotfl:

Either way, I think you should be just fine. :goodvibes Happy booking!!! :thumbsup2

When we booked Crystal Palace for breakfast, only 8:40am was available, and this was for Valentine's Day. Mind you, we only booked 2 months out.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to shoot for a couple of early ADR's. It's going to be another marathon 12-15 hour every day marathon of madness, except for one day in the middle.

oh, the Dis-Manity! :cool1:

Booking opens at 6am eastern time correct?
