This thread scared the daylights out of me. Chicken is pretty much all I eat, i'm that picky of an eater. I loved the chicken strips & I enjoy eating nuggets but based on the pics alone, the new nuggets look just like the chicken fingers on the buffet at Crystal Palace. First the changes to the DDP, now no more chicken strips & to add to it, there is a good chance I won't get my Cheesecake Factory Express at DQ this year either. Not good news but hopefully AI & T-Rex will be open by then so I can enjoy them. I'll just tell myself to enjoy them, dunk the new nuggets in BBQ & everything will be ok again.

I cannot imagine how worked up people can get over chicken stripes/nuggets/striplets whatever you want to call them..........people its a vacation, its not the end of the world. IT'S DISNEY

They were my favourite thing to eat at Disney! I could never get bored of them. I hope they bring them back! Thank goodness I took photos of my chicken strips on my last trip, so I can remember all the fond memories we shared together

Go and enjoy the new strips! They're the same, but just a little smaller.

Here's a tip for you chicken strip lovers...mix equal parts mayo and the dijon honey mustard sauce they give you for a YUMMY (almost EXACTLY like Palo on the cruise) dipping sauce! It's even good on fries...

Oooh...great tip! That sounds yummy! I will try it on my next trip with my smaller (and hopefully the same) chicken strips!

I was at Epcot on Sunday and noticed that at the American Pavillion it was chicken nuggets and not chicken strips as is usually found. I thought to myself "I wonder if they are the same only smaller." Its good to know they seem to be, however the pic on the menu didnt give me that feeling, so I opted to get something else. I'll give it a try in a couple weeks. They are just chicken strips after all, but boy they are good

So Disney just called............WOW! I love saying that They called because of my email concerning the chicken strips. Now I sent this email about a month ago so I figured it just got "filed".

The lovely lady from WDW executive office stated that my email has been forwarded to the head of the WDW food and beverage department.

She also stated that the chicken nuggets are exactly the same as the chicken strips only smaller. She insisted that they taste the same and that she really hopes my family's enjoyment of the parks won't be affect by this change.

So, that was really nice of them to call. The look on my DD16's face when she looked at the caller ID was priceless She says "Mom - it says Disney MGM Studios?!?!?!?"

How did we ever make it as kids without caller ID...think about it...our kids have known nothing else...kind of funny.

Exactly.....we used to just answer the phone with absolutely no idea who
it was
they won't know what it's like to have a code....ring 2x and then call back(very top secret).....to avoid someone you don't want to talk to

My Mom used to tell my Grandmother to do that when she would call to avoid other people.
