I was just browsing the new menu for Le Cellier and I see that the Beef Kabob for the appetizers is on the lunch menu but not dinner! Say it is not so!!?? That is dh and I's FAVORITE thing there and what we are most looking foward to eating there in September.

I keep wondering if it is a typo b/c now that leaves more appetizers on the lunch menu than dinner.

Can anyone confirm this? If it is right do you think they will still let us order it since it is there at lunch? We seriously do not eat any of the 3 things offered on the dinner app menu as it stands right now so that would not be fun. :scared1:

I walked by Le Cellier yesterday to check out the menus.

The Beef Kabob is off the menu for both lunch and dinner.

They still have about six or so appetizer options (there is a new duck appetizer, I don't remember seeing before).

Yes, it's not on the menu anymore. Neither is the crab-salmon timbale appetizer, the berry buckle dessert, or the shrimp pasta dish.

We were just there on Tuesday and they had a new duck appetizer, a new tuna appetizer, a cherry shortcake dessert, and a new bouillbaise entree.

I had the cherry shortcake and bouillbaise, both were good. My sister was very disappointed the shrimp pasta was gone, she really wanted to try that. Hopefully the new menu will be posted soon. :)

I am going to keep my fingers crossed, this is a seasonal change and some of these items will be back on the menu in sept/oct.

Wow, I am really bummed over that. DH and I loved thoes. It was one of our favorite things from our last trip. We are very very picky eaters and there is not one other app on the menu we like. :(

Can somebody confrim what IS on the desert menu now.. back to my being picky.. I do not eat sorbet, creme brulee or anything like that so I am hoping I am not going to be out of luck on appetizers AND desert too.

The only change that I noticed on the dessert menu was that the double berry buckle was replaced by a cherry shortcake. It had a almond biscuit type shortcake (softer texture, moister) with a sweet cherry sauce and lavender scented ice cream. It was about an A- in my book.

Nice change of pace though from chocolate, but I really wanted to try the huckleberry ice cream.
