Makes you wonder what greater incentives DVD has offered guides to sell SRR rather than add-ons at other resorts.

DW just spoke with our guide. The only way for us to get points in a different UY is to do it as new purchase with the 150 pt minimum. Add-ons have to be in the same use year. Has anyone out there been able to get around this?

If you go resale you can do whatever you want.

My guide told me the same thing yesterday about add ons. I wanted 100 pts at BCV and have been on the waiting list since last May with no luck. I already have pts at 2 resorts and don't want to add a third, but it all depends on luck.

The points that become available are from people who sold theirs back to Disney. She also said that they won't send an e-mail around letting the guides know there are points other than SS. She could check in the AM and they could become available in the PM. You have to be the first one to send an e-mail.

Our other resort is WL she basically said fat chance on that since it is the smallest of all the resorts.

I got the spiel that SS is 12 years longer, good investment, etc.

Debs, I called yesterday and nothing at Vero for June. I did get the last 44 points they had for June at VWL.

I think I'm almost done adding on.

OK, so it looks like VB is a no go! Does anyone know if there is anything left at BWV for a June use year? Unlikely I know!

I left a message with my guide saying that we still want the add on at VWL if it becomes available. DH says that if we have to call every day we will, I'm not that tenacious. I'm willing to try a few years with our current points. Our VWL points will only be used by us there in December until we get more points. DH is willing to go for even 150 points there on resale, but I don't think we need that many more.

Anyway, see our timer! I'm in heaven!
