No MB, no FP?

What is RFID? Are there Customer Service locations BEFORE entering MK and EPCOT?

Can I hit a kiosk once we get the new "tickets" and order all of the FP for the day? Will I even have any luck getting any? If we go to MK I'm guessing we'd want FP for MTMRR, Splash or Space Mountain. If we choose Epcot, I'm guessing we'd want Soarin'...multiple times if possible.

Thanks for your help!

Sorry, you can't reserve the same attraction more than once.

3 FP+, all in same park, no repeats.

1. What is RFID?

2. Are there Customer Service locations BEFORE entering MK and EPCOT?

1. Radio Frequency Identification Device. Think of it as replacing the mag stripe/bar code. You just tap the ticket to the reader.

2. Yes. Also for the MK, if you are driving, the TTC.

It might be helpful if you shared what the issue is with the bands... not necessarily your diagnosis, but what the problem is with wearing/carrying the bands.

Thank you everyone! So, we are leaning towards going to Epcot, MAYBE hopping to MK later in the day. We would have to go to Customer Service before entering Epcot and upgrade. Is there a kiosk near the entrance to make the reservations? If so, can I make all three for the day at the same time? I'm guessing if we then went to MK, we'd have to stand in line for anything, right?

I will have an extra 4th paper ticket. Can I upgrade the format at that time and just hang on to it? What new format would I receive for any of them? A plastic card?

No personal experience, but I have read a few posts here that the kiosks that are close to the entrance are very crowded. Walk past the first ones you see and head for one further in the park.

Doesn't matter what the reason, if she says she can't she can't. I'm not sure if I would put my medical history or health conditions on a board

OK, but nobody asked her to put her "medical history or health conditions" on the board. In fact, I specified that her diagnosis would be unnecessary.

As examples...

Helpful: "I'm concerned that the band will irritate my skin."
Not necessary: "I have eczema."

Helpful: "I don't like the way bands/bracelets feel on my wrists."
Not necessary: "I have a somatosensory disorder."

The issue she thinks she will have may not be an issue at all, and if it is, others may have suggestions if they know what her specific concerns are.

1. For most of the resorts (not sure but I think probably all by now) they do not issue room key cards any longer. Actually took out all the card printers. You will get a grey wrist band that will do the door unlock for your room. You don't have to wear it, just put it in your pocket like I do.

2. To get a FP, you can get an RFID enabled plastic card for your ticketing that will work for park entry and will also work for the FP kiosks in the park to book your FP's. You can link the card to the MDE app and book FP+ just like your wristband. The card or the wristband is just the media that holds the ticketing information. Either can be used the same way.

Not sure though if they can link your room entry to the card but they probably can, don't know why you couldn't. The ticketing cards can only be gotten at the ticketing offices or Guest Relations onsite or earlier through the approved resellers.
