DH is driving me crazy!!! I mentioned here a few days ago that I was tempted to schedule a WDW trip for just DH and I over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate our anniversary. I had some concerns including how we (mostly I) would handle being away from DS, the cost (especially since we are taking DS later this year), etc.

Anyway, I mentioned it to DH the other night and he said that while he would love to go he just didn't feel like it was a good idea. OK...I can live with that. It is not a big deal - it was just a crazy little idea. Well yesterday he asked me a few questions which suprised me because he said he didn't think it was a good idea. Now he calls me from work and tells me that he can more than likely get two days off work that weekend. Huh? I thought he said we were not going but he is asking for time off from work. Well he said that he has been thinking about it and he is not sure so he wants to discuss it some more. AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH! I just wish he would make up his mind so I could start planning. Affordable rooms, plane tickets, etc. are not getting any easier to find with such short notice for a holiday weekend.

I think I would get prices lines up, call him and tell him what great deals you found and you are afraid that is you wait, then they will not be available.

I hope it works out for you to get away with Hubby! I have to admit that I hardly ever go away without my kids and it would be hard for me. They go away sometimes without me -- but I have a hard time taking vacations without them. Oh my --- DD is grown and DS will be grown before I know it (he is 14) - I'll just enjoy the time I have with them now. It was much easier when the were little and wouldn't really miss anything. But now I know that they would really enjoy where we go -- and I can hardly stand not to have them along.

What the heck is wrong with me! UGH!
