Never cut your middle schooler's hair by yourself:eek:

DS insisted he needed a haircut at 9:00pm last night - so I thought I could do it. You would think I would have learned from my own Mom's bad perms and color jobs.

It's back to the salon today for a re-do.. I think he hates me now.:( :(

Sounds like he needs a buzz cut now!

Don't feel too bad. Hair grows back.

I cut my DS13's hair because my friend who is a hair dresser said I was stupid to keep paying for buzz cuts & taught me how.
I swore I would never ever cut my DD's hair, not even her bangs, because I had to hold my head crooked so my bangs would look straight after my Mom cut mine.:D ;)

 LOL! Awww, I'm sure he doesn't hate you. :)

Heehee! Never cut your ex's hair either! :teeth: My ex had (notice the word had :teeth: ) very long hair, down to the middle of his back and he just wanted a trim. He was so mad at me because I kept evening it out. Imagine how mad he was when he looked in the mirror and it was almost to his shoulders! Well, at least one side was anyway. :teeth: :o

That was my problem, I kept trying to "even it out". The problem is his hair is black and when you take a gouge out with the clippers - it's hard to "even it out" with out shaving him bald.:(

I guess it didn't look too bad - he did go to school yesterday. I was afraid he would try to get me to let him stay home until it grew out
