Following Universal's lead, apparently.

Masks will still be required at the Disney theme parks when indoors, including when queuing for and riding attractions. Masks will continue to be required on Disney transportation. Physical distancing will also remain in place, with the original 6ft being reduced to 3ft over the coming weeks.

This will keep people not willing to wear masks outdoors out of 60 minute plus queues for tot, slinky, etc in the summer heat. Works for me.

I've been a proponent of following the guidance of the CDC, so I am on board with this. I do hope the # of vaccinated continue to go up. I'm also interested to see if we will all require a 6 month booster.

I think it’s very possible. I’m not expecting masks many places if any by fall.

The next step isn’t no masks anywhere. I imagine they will rank all of the places they are still requiring them from least to most risky and remove the mask requirements over time. Standing in a long slinky dog line outside will likely require no masks before tower of terror.
