No luck with BOG - TS alternative?

Hi all!

We will arrive at our resort around 3 PM, unpack, and go to MK. I was then hoping to get a 7 PM ish reservation to BOG, and then enjoy the night parade and wishes fireworks.

That combo would help me WOW my parents and 5 yrs daughter.

Sadly, I can't seem to get a BOG reservation. I'll keep on checking, but other suggestions that would keep the WOW factor for those that haven't been in 20 yrs?

We are on the DDP and only want to use one TS credit.

As far as the BOG ressie, don't give up hope yet!!! We are going April 1-8, and I was able to get an ADR for BOG just last week. Just keep checking as you plan and you might get lucky! I would also suggest being open to checking for openings on other nights of your stay if eating there is a real priority for you.

Another option to consider would be a character meal. We are doing Chef Mickey's on our arrival night, because I think it will be lots of fun for our 3 - almost 4 - year old.

IMO none of the other TS restaurants at MK will have a wow-factor like BOG. There is Tony's with mediocre Italian food, CP buffet with Pooh and friends, LTT with family style Thanksgiving type food, or The PLaza which has good sandwiches but is not worth a TS credit.

I know you said 1 credit, but the other MK place that would "wow" is CRT for the atmosphere, but it is 2 credits.

Does it have to be at MK? What about O'hana? Just a short monorail ride from MK....

Don't give up on BOG...keep trying! I had been looking for something the week of April 14, and suddenly there were times open for every day that week! Go on the site every chance you get, but have a backup plan.

The same thing happened to me. I didn't get an ADR until 9pm, but it won't bother me if we get hungry earlier and just head in for dessert. We're not on the dining plan though, so I don't have to worry about the credits.
