does anyone like it? We've been everywhere else in MK but never Plaza, was thinking we'd try it soon...

I love the Plaza . I suggest you let them know first visit / window seating please. The cast at this location have been at this location forever .
They love the Plaza and it shows when they greet me & serve me every visit!

We like the Plaza. I liked the menu better pre Covid, but I have had the pot roast and the chicken sandwich that are on the current menu and they were both good. For dessert I usually get a pineapple sundae.

I ate there last November as a solo diner. Although I didn't like it as much as Liberty Tree Tavern, I thought it was pretty good. Having gone to LTT a lot over the years, I decided it was time to give another place a try.

I went there on a recent-ish trip. It was last minute - I made the ADR that afternoon. It was okay I suppose, but not amazing. It was very slow that night - it took a while to get seated, well after my reservation time, and I had to press to get the check so I could get out and get to my TRON LL time. The food was good, but not spectacular. Better than any MK counter-service place though!

The Plaza used to be a must-do for us but they've changed the menu and taken away some favorites that we rarely go back now. Why on earth they'd take off a turkey club sandwich I'll never know! But if it comes back I'll go back!

We have eaten there off and on over the years .... and never had a bad meal, and always good service. We haven't eaten there as much in recent years only because they keep changing the menu, raising the prices and we haven't found it as appealing. Nice that it is smaller and not too loud.

We have liked all the meals we've had at the Plaza.

I used to like sitting in the sunroom area and having a big breakfast in the mornings, but they don't have breakfast anymore.

It was a one and done for us. It's loud and the tables are so close together. It just felt chaotic and the food was not great. My son and I both had the Monte Cristo thinking of the Disneyland version. That was not it - at all. The most prominent flavor was grease. Then later that evening we both ended up regretting our life's decisions - I'll spare you the details :crazy2: .

Nope. Not again.

We like The Plaza.

As others have said, the menu does change. I miss the meatloaf entre' they used to have (don't see it on the menu above). The Chef (Ken) was walking through the dining room one time and I asked him the "trick" that made his meatloaf taste better than mine. It boiled down to the fact that 25% of the dish was ground pork and 75% was beef (and I made that change to my recipe at home). But the pot roast offering has taken its place as my fave in its absence.

It's a place to get some comfort food in a MK table service setting. BoG is too costly for us (and the food doesn't meet the price point), Skipper Canteen has small portions and few menu choices, and Tony's is an option since its reputation has improved after a decade at the bottom of the list years ago. The Plaza, however, has been my 'Ol Reliable'.

Yes, it can be loud (lots of hard surfaces that bounce noise around) and it's not big (smaller seating capacity) but we eat there about 50-75% of our MK days.

PS - and yes, I have been unhappy with my Plaza dinner at times but it's because mine didn't turn out as well as the choices of our other table guests.

Personally I do like it there.
Reasonable prices and I enjoy the atmosphere.
Not too loud and relaxing. Its a great spot to eat if you want a break from the park.

It used to be a must do lunch for us but the menu changes have kept us away lately. I miss the Reuben but I do like a good club……

Loved it there years ago, when the menu was better, it was almost a hidden gem. We also enjoyed breakfast there when they had it for a short time before Covid in 2019. We had dinner there a few trips ago and we were not impressed. It was chaotic, crowded and the food was just meh.

We ate there for the first time in April, I don't think I'd do it again, the food was just okay.

The Plaza has become a "must do" for us for lunch at MK. We order salads, mostly, though. It is a nice place to cool off when it is hot.

We ate dinner there back in December, but like lunch better.
