No longer under 3

Sorry if the comment offended...I meant it jokingly. In the end, though, it was the agent that put it, I didn't lie about the age. Like I said, if Disney is very concerned about things like this happening then they need to request proof of age for all guests.

Disney, for whatever reason, wants to believe in the integrity of it's guests. I think they would be better off just asking for birth certificates for younger guests. That way there is no debate. Not there should be really, 3 is 3, even if it by only a week. But for some reason people persist in thinking there is wiggle room. This subject seems to come up pretty often, and it is suprising how many people think under 3 means 3 and 2 weeks, or 4.

If you want your soon to be 3yr old to be on the ddp and have their own meals you need to call now and add them the only thing you will be charged is the price of the childs ticket and what ever the cost of the ddp is if you wait any time between five days before and the day of your arrival you will no longer be eligible for the ddp and you will have to pay for all of the childs meals.

Just to share...I did call to change my DD princess: age from 2 to 3 and it DID NOT cancel the reservation, they just added her tix and meal plan!!! They also changed my DS pirate: age from 4 to 5. The agent was so nice about it and did ask if we were celebrating anything special. I told her it was their first trip to WDW! She said that was special and would add it to our reservation.

But talk about inconsistency...Disney needs to make sure that their agents realy all info and ask all questions. I also canceled the rental car. When talking to the fisrt agent my Vonage cut out so I had to call back. The first agent had told me about the cancellation fee, but the second did not. I know agents are busy and hurried, but make they do need to make sure to cover all aspects of reservation booking/chang/cancellation.

You know what the stupid thing is, they still have my kids ages listed on this trip from the trip from 2 years ago. I told them how old they were at time of travel and they still listed as 7 and 3.

thank so much, I just double checked our reservation and it is for "connecting" rooms. My heart did skip a beat for a second. ;)

Be prepared-- Connecting/adjoining rooms are NEVER guaranteed.

We requested connecting rooms and 6months prior to arrival prepaid for both "preferred rooms"(close to food/bus etc) for early February offseason. Upon check-in, we were informed they were overbooked and both our rooms had been downgraded (not preferred) and in fact would not even be in same building. (my motherinlaw traveling alone and firsttime trip in 20 yrs had to be in a separate building!!) This was ALLStarSports.

We were offered nothing to compensate and had to speak to several CMs before checking out and AFTER returning home to finally get my refund for the extra I had paid for "preferred rooms". A few CMs didn't even think I could get that portion I paid back?!

30 days after returning home and 7 months after paying, I received my $100 I was entitled. Annoying and disappointing but didn't let it spoil our trip.
