No longer offering dining plan to DVC res?

I have seen on the UK websites offering free dining for 2011 that 2 snacks are included in the regular DDP

DDP Works Great only IF you use the plan to book the expensive dinners or Character Meals. We tried it both ways. Ex, w/o dining plan , we booked Cinderella dinner 1900 park fare,Ohana,Cape May and Chef Mickeys, This was almost $600 for 3 adults, 2 kids.

With Dining Plan the total was $660 for the 4 days and we received 4 Quick Service and 4 snacks on top. DDP works if you use it for the high end stuff. Otherwise, pay out of pocket and cut back

I've never used the dining plan, I just couldn't make the figures work, even when tips and appetizers were included. And we normally have a Table Service meal daily.
