No longer having 1 family per table

That’s a great question! Hadn’t even thought of that. But, if they do and word of that spreads, there will be so many private table requests they’ll need to add two more seatings! :)
They will NOT do that. I was on transatlantic and people who got covid were just moved out of their staterooms. The other family members did not have to leave the stateroom and didn't have to test if they didn't have symptoms they were able to still go about and enjoy the cruise.

Good to know! Thanks for that information!

We were on this cruise as well. According to some of the cast members we spoke to, there were supposed to be 3600 passengers but only 3100 or so made it on. We saw 25+ pallet loads of luggage going back into the terminal before we sailed away which we suspected were due to positive tests.
Assuming those numbers are accurate, that's a 14% attrition rate. Oof.

I figured they would bring it back.

Do they still try to pair you with a similar party? (i.e., two adult couples or families with kids around the same age)
Yes, we were paired with a couple with two kids a little older than ours. For our first shared table in 5 cruises, we got lucky and had a pleasant couple of dinners.
