Let's keep this going. Why do you like your favorite restuarant? Is it the food, atmosphere?

I like Liberty Tree Tavern. And the Main Street Bakery. I want a really big cinnamon roll right now.![]()
Well it's officially Monday and I am STILL sick with a bad sinus infection. I've been on the boards but not as much. Right now I am wide awake because me ears are hurting soooo bad. So, earlier I came up with a plan for our ADR's...and come March 16th we can make them. Here they are and I'd like to know what you think. Keep in mind I have been to Teppan Edo and 50's Prime Time and CRT!!
1. San Angel Inn
2. Le Cellier
3. Chef's De France
4. Coral Reef
5. Chef Mickey
6. Crystal Palace
7. Sci-Fi Dine in Theater
8. 50's Prime Time Cafe
9. Ohana
10. Nine Dragons
11. Arkershus
12. Biergarten
13. Tusker House
14. Tony's Town Square
That's it for now!!! as it could change.
Ok, I'm going to be honest because part of the Disney experience to me is the food. (I try to be insanely healthy a few months before so I can chow down while at WDW!)
But, I have eaten at San Angel Inn nearly 5 times, and have not liked it once. I kept going back because I thought the atmosphere is great, but I don't think it's worth using DDP credits on. The food at Mexico's fast food area outside is MUCH better. (My parents and DH both hate San Angel Inn; they humored me a few more times, but now refuse to go back.)
Sci-Fi is a MUST for lunch! They have THE BEST BURGERS EVER!! We always do a buger and fries (or, onion rings) and a shake. But seriously, this is one of my favorite places when it comes to atmosphere and food. I'm drooling at work right now just thinking about that burger! (Last time we were there, they didn't do burgers on the dinner menu, so that's why I suggested lunch. You'd have to check an updated menu for dinner; we just always make it a mid-day tradition.)
Crystal Palace is great; we normally eat here for breakfast. They definitely have my fav breakfast buffet! It's always so cheery and a great way to start a day! (Never done dinner here, so no opinion there, sorry!!)
Chef Mickey's is one of my other favs; our tradition for her is dinner. Most amazing dessert spread, ever!
Ugh; my lame pb&j for lunch does not sound appealing at all anymore. HOW many more days until I get to eat at WDW??![]()
Wolfgang Puck EXPRESS.
That's the one in the marketplace area.
Please keep in mind that I haven't eaten at too many restaurants in WDW. I loved this one the best because I could eat outside on the patio with the ceiling fans in an area that seemed a bit off the beaten path. I think there was only one family eating while we were. I love dining alfresco and so this just hit the spot for me.
I LOVED the iced tea. I'm not a soda drinker, and good iced tea is difficult to come by. This iced tea was SOO GOOD. And it was self serve drinks. So I could easily get as much as I wanted.
Even though it was a CS, they gave you a number and brought your food out to you ala Pei Wei. And the FOOD was excellent. Even DS was pleased with his menu options. YAY!
The desert was SO GOOD. A really tasty creme brulee.
This all may change after our next trip with the DxDDP!![]()
For both of my places-it's both the food and the atmosphere! Tony's- it's so beautiful in there and Lady and the Tramp themed. The Luau is pretty obvious- the show...AND the Hawaiian feel is gorgeous.
Where have I been? I swear your PTR fell off my list. I thought since you changed dates, you deleted it. Anyway, I'm back and lovin every minute of it!
Great dining choices BTW!
Thanks for all your responsesSorry I don't have much of an update--well actually I am going back to school after being out for twelve!!! I'll be taking culinary arts (baking and pastries)--For the past year or two, I've struggled to decide on what to do. And all of a sudden it hit me--so I'm going back to school. Hopefully will start in the summer--if not will be the fall

I'm a little scared about going back. It's been twelve years.
I graduated HS in 1990--and went to a community college for a while. Graduated there in 1995, and then got my bachelor's in 1997. So as you can probably imagine I'm a bit nervous![]()
Congrats on that decision!!! Going back can be hard, but it's such a great feeling once you get the administration part taken care of!
I'm studying for the LSAT right now; I'm so ready to be done with applications and the test. But, my test is 2 weeks after our trip, so I'm both anxious for our trip to start, but nervous about my test. September is going to be a whirlwind month!
Nervous but excited! I imagine.
I also graduated HS 1990, BS 1994. I've been toying with the idea of going back to school myself. We just have to get our debt under control before we start footing the bill for that one!![]()
