Just checked to see if there was a option in the Contact Us for Gift giving and as of right now it isnt there...


I seem to remember reading this was a big fasico last year.. anyone care to expand on that??

Also Who is planning on gifting year despite the events of last year?

Well, has anyone noticed that not only can't the designers' count in the game or spell, they can't use a calendar either. Yavn says "– The final date to Give-A-Gift is Sunday, December 21, 2006 and all gifts will be delivered Tuesday, December 26, 2006."

The 21st is a Thursday not Sunday.
So which is it, Sunday Dec 24 or Thursday Dec 21?

Weren't the gifts sent on Christmas Eve last year?

Yes, you can send them to yourself. I did that last year because I wanted to make sure that I got at least one.

As far as the dates, here's my theory: they want the info by Thursday so they can process all the names and make sure they can deliver the gifts and take out the credits. But I think last year they were delivered on Christmas Eve so I can't explain that.

I just gifted some people I think I did it right. There was one person on my list who I'm not 100% sure on the exact capitalization of the name, and I can't remember if it has an underscore or not. I'm at work, so I can't check right now, but I went with my gut and I hope I'm right.

Do they still take out 500 credits for a wrong entry?

I tried to do the gift giving and it will not recognize any of my accounts- keeps telling me all the birthdays are wrong

I even used the link in the players guide to check birthdates even though I knew my own birthday was right...

And it won't accept anything- I suppose it is a good thing I don't have a problem since I can't get past the enter my information page of the contact us thing...

Editted because I fixed my problem by using a different browser- I had already tried clearing history and cookies but that hadn't helped- I had tried contact us from vmkpal and it did work but then sent IE into a frenzy of opening tabs that was a little insane= had to shut down and restart computer- but then I used mozilla with no problems...
