I have booked; Kona, Ohanas, Boatwrights (staying at POFQ), Narcoossees...I need a couple more. I REALLY wanted LeCellier (steak mmmm):flower3: but alas all booked:confused3 .

What are your faves? It is DH, DS (20) and myself. Really not into character meals at this point as we are three adults. We have the DDP so cost really isn't an issue.

What do you recommend and why? Thanks so much!

we always enjoyed 50's Prime time cafe! and I have been reading good reviews on the new italian restaurant in epcot...

If you're looking for steak, I can recommend the Yachtsman Steakhouse. The food there was better than Narcoossee's.

I would agree with Yachtsman Steakhouse. I had the best steak I've ever eaten there. I don't do the dining plan, but I think it's a two credit meal, right folks?:confused3 But the food is so good it would be totally worth it.:thumbsup2

It's an easy walk out of Epcot, but keep in mind that the dress code is business casual, so leave the tattered jeans and t's and the rubber flip flops back in the room. We wore nice khakis and polo shirts and were fine.

We are two adults and completely understand wanted a really good meal. We don't do the dining plan because most of our favs are in the signature dining (2 credits needed) category. That being said, we think Jiko is the best restaurant on property (with the exception of Vic and Als which Dh won't go to because of the coat thing) but its 2 credits.

Of the one credits - we enjoy Kona, Captain's Grille, Turf Club, Whispering Canyon (Breakfast only for us) Raglin Road (not sure they are on the plan), and Prime Time 50's

We love Chefs de France! Try daily for Le Cellier though, I was persistent and they went from no availability at all to having a reservation for me at the exact time I wanted. Just a thought...

Nine Dragons is very good too.

Also keep calling back and trying.

There was just a thread where people had no luck getting ADR for Le Cellier for 2, but there were many openings for 3 and the CM suggested they try asking for that.

I did ask for three, me, ds, and dh...I'll keep trying though!

I know a lot of people love Le Cellier, but any good steakhouse near your home can easily trump them. Moreover, as far as theming, in my family's opinion that is one uninteresting cellar. I'd say it's nice for a date except the tables are close together and there are no alcoves. We enjoyed our dinner there, nothing was wrong, but I don't get the burning desire to be there that many have. I only say that because you really will be happy with an alternative. If you need an Epcot alternative, the atmosphere at Coral Reef is fabulous and the food prepared well. We're trying out Teppan Edo next trip. Nine Dragons has been refurbed and we want to try it for lunch. We happened to love Garden Grill because we thought it was super Disney: unique setting, the restaurant rotates, the food was decent, service was fast, I was grateful for the salad (and it was grown hydroponically inside the Living with Land ride), and we saw Mickey. But the truth is, we'd eat there regardless of Mickey. If you just want great food then I definitely second Jiko or consider Boma. I'm looking forward to Sanaa when it opens in the Kidani Village building at AKL. Yachtsman steakouse has great steak and you can walk around the lake and get away from Epcot if you like. The Yachtsman and Jiko though take 2 dining credits if that is a concern. And strangely enough, on our last trip we thought our best steak and dessert came from the Brown Derby at DHS. They also had the best service. But it's also a 2 table credit. Also Flying Fish
(2 credits) and Spoodles over at Boardwalk have consistent and tasty food. Just some thoughts!

I would recommend Yachtsman Steakhouse. If you only want to go with a 1TS, I'd recommend Coral Reef. Tutto Italia is really good also.

Jiko is my favorite WDW steak so far, though I haven't tried them all, LOL. Yet.

We enjoyed Tutto Italia if you want to stay in Epcot. Teppan Edo was okay, not great, but entertaining. I probably wouldn't go there again unless I was taking my children and wanted something to keep them entertained. I'm glad I tried it though.

I think the steak is much better at the Yachtsman than at LeCellier or the Brown Derby. Good luck.

if you're looking for something in epcot especially, i highly recommend tokyo dining. it's a little more adult, a little more gourmet than teppan edo. service is outstanding and the food is delicious. it has been our favorite in epcot so far.

We enjoyed Chefs de France at Epcot.
We have enjoyed Boma's both times we've dined there.

We're planning to try Raglan Road at DTD.

Have you considered Whispering Canyon? My DH and DS both enjoyed their steaks there and it is only 1 TS on the DDP.

If it is the steak you want, Yachtsman is tops. Our family raised black angus cattle, so have tasted a few. I do always also try to eat at Le Cellier, it is a very good steak, just one level below Yachtsman. Coral reef is good also and offers another interesting decor.
