No Le Cellier dinners?

Tons of lunch times but not a single dinner slot at Le Cellier straight through May.. did they stop serving dinner or something? I've never had a problem getting a dinner res weeks/months in advance....

Just checked a random day in April on the website and tons of dinner slots.

Just found the issue... it is the party size. Nothing less than 3 gives any times.. 1-2 guests == nothing available... attached. Was looking for two guests.

This happens for lots of restaurants right now... party of 1 or 2 has no availability, ever.

Usually you can just book for 4 and modify down (after confirming the booking) to a smaller party size.

Yeah that's what I did. This is new for me, though.. could always get 2 in the past and it extends to lots of restaurants that we like. I called and they did say that changes were made.. I'm guessing to discourage small parties.

I've only done it on my PC (never a problem), but assume you can on app as well. Go to "My Plans", find the res and look to " Modify". Never had to call.

I always book for 2, and just tell them when I show up that my partner wasn't feeling well, or just decided not to join me. Since it's the same size table, there's never been a problem-or a charge.

Looks like an older thread that got bumped back up - but just to add: they may have fixed the issue, or the site isn't being glitchy now, because I was booking for my 12/12 trip this morning and had no problem finding Le Cellier lunch and dinner availability for party of 2 on both Sat and Sun evenings.

I have occasionally had issues with the reservation system when booking for 1 and getting no availability, but switching to 2 usually works out. As Simba's Mom mentioned, when I show up solo I just notify my party is down to 1 and have never had an issue. I could see potentially an issue going from party of 4 to 2 or 1, since that often would change the table size...but 2 is the same table size.
