ok this is me & the wife first trip ever to The World without kids. I had to hide our MagicBands that came to house. I feel like we on a spy mission. Does anyone else ever feel that way when the kids not going with you???:wave2:

I know the feeling. My wife and I are going in February with no kids. Now my kids are 20 and 12 so they understand we are going but they still don't like the fact they are not going. haha. Luckily I do not have to keep it a secret.

They 19 & 14 but Disney Junkies like me so I'll just tell them when we get back I don't need the headache now cause they Daddy girls and I would give in LOL

Love adult only trips! I don't feel guilty at all! Took the kids for a week this past July. Hubby and I are going for a week ALONE in March 2014! Woo! Hoo! Going to Disney World alone makes you a better parent when you get back...:)
29 trips to Disney World with and without kids...next stop POFQ march 2014 NO KIDS!!!

Looking at a fall 2014 trip without kiddos for 10th wedding anniv. Really want to enjoy & can't decide on dates... Sept Nov or Dec... Our anniv is in Nov but Keep feeling drawn to 1st week of Dec... Our best trip ever with kiddos was Sept so it's always on the radar (low crowds, good prices, etc...)

We just booked our adult only anniversary trip for 2014. We have never been without my DD and she is not to happy. She loves Disney and doesn't understand why we would want to go without her on our 10 year wedding anniversary. :confused3 She's 16 btw. I do feel kind of bad but at the same time it is our anniversary. :)

DH and I are taking our 25th anniversary trip to WDW by ourselves this June. Our boys are now 20 and in college. We've taken them to DLR, but waited until now to go to WDW so we could go by ourselves. Besides, we save so much money just on food alone by not bringing them. ;) And I figure it's time for us to play. :goodvibes

We recently went on and Adult weekend. We had never done this before. The first night we went to the MVMCP and I had guilt. I quickly got over the guilt and we had a blast. It was a totally different vacation. We "strolled" more, pin traded, people watched and took it slow. For me to continue being a good Mom to teenagers I NEEDED an adult only weekend.

Wish there was a like button. Lol. I feel guilty about not bringing our DD16 in Sept but then I remember it's our anniversary & sometimes we need to do things on our own. Also I'm sure she will appreciate the week away from us. Lol

I would so love a few days at Disney with just my husband, but I know that guilt would ruin it for me! DD is only 6, and she's part of what makes Disney so magical for us right now! When she's older though, I'd love to come for a few days during the F&W festival.

My husband & I are going January 23rd-26th (just 2 short days in the parks) without our kids (4 & 2) for an impromptu Anniversary trip. We took a wee long family trip in May and my kids still talk about it haha. When our MagicBands arrived I had to hide them before they saw Mrs.Incredible lmao. Oh well! My hibby and I never get couple time so this is well deserved for two Disney nerds like us :-)
