Does anyone have a list of the counter service restraunts with NO kids meal?

allears.com has that info. Just a suggestion, why not try real food at WDW, that is what we have done with great success. Magical way to get rid of or cut down on mac & cheese & chicken fingers. Make it a "magical" experience.:wizard:

:confused3 ???I am lost...What do u mean real food?
Healthier options or foods to experiment with...things other than fries, mac & cheese & chicken fingers. Nice time to try fish, different veggies, salads.....Could be a great experience!

Maybe a great experience at home but not on vacation. If my DD thought her whole vacation was about trying new foods she would be miserable. I'd rather have fun on vacation and leave the new food trying at home thank you very much.

Well...the TS meals have lots of options like fish and salad and veggies, and the buffets have a little bit of everything; anyone who wants them will have plenty of healthy choices throughout the day (I personally plan on living on Dole Whips and Mickey Bars the whole time I'm there ) A lot -- although not all -- of the CS options are kinda junk food, for kids AND adults, but that's ok, it's part of the fun :)

As for the CS options that don't have a kids' menu -- so kids' can order off the same menu as the adults --
Pizza Planet - MGM
Casey's - MK
Pete's Doggone Good Dogs - MK
Boulangerie Patisserie - Epcot
Sommerfest - Epcot
Yorkshire County Fish Shop - Epcot

There may be others, but those are the ones I found looking just now...

Was just a suggestion. If food is what would make her miserable that is another topic. Chill out!
Go MAC & CHEESE!:rotfl2:

We are doing lots of buffet style as our TS to get away from the childs menus. And letting the younger two have a more range to choose from..

That is what we have done and really is a great way for the kids to try new and healthier options....

My problem is not w/ the TS meals. It is w/ the CS meals. My DS will NOT eat chicken and/or mac & cheese everyday for the whole time we are there. As it looks now, we will be sharing most of the CS meals. Thank goodness for double burgers and extra buns.

No mac and cheese here. No nuggets either! My youngest seems to survive off of peanut butter alone!

from looking at choices for the dining plan for kids it seems they only get mac and cheese and chicken nuggets- I would love for the kids to have other choices... am i missing something

Yep, you are missing something ;) A lot of the kids' CS choices are not very appealing, but some are better if you look for them, more interesting, more variety:

MK -- CS looks pretty lame, even for adults.
Casey's Corner: has no kids' menu, kids have same options as adults.
El Pirata y el Perico: taco, cookie, and beverage
Main St Bakery: doesn't look like there's a kid' menu, so same options as adults.

AK -- CS not great options for kids
Flame Tree: chicken wings or hot dog (may be ok)
Tusker House: mac and cheese or chicken drumstick (may be ok)
Pizzafari: cheese quesadilla may be ok, but really odd there is no pizza for kids!

MGM -- CS options not great for anybody, but...
Catalina Eddie's: don't see kids' menu? same options as adults?
Toy Story Pizza Planet: no kids' menu, same options as adults
ABC Commissary: gets bad reviews, but kids' meals includes fried fish and vegetable noodle stir fry, specifies fries and soda available on request

Epcot -- some really unique and appetizing-sounding CS options for kids:
Cantina: beef burrito and soft drink
Electric Umbrella: standard chick nuggets and mac & cheese, but also turkey and cheese pinwheels, at least it's something different...soda and fries on request
Fountain View: don't see kid's menu -- same choices as adults?
Sommerfest: don't see kid's menu -- same choices as adults?
Sunshine Seasons: sweet and sour chicken, mac & cheese, mini sub, chicken leg
Yorkshire Fish Shop: don't see kid's menu -- same choices as adults?
Lotus Blossom: egg roll and beef fried rice
Tangierine: burger, pizza, or chicken tenders, all with fries and drink
Yakitori: teriyaki chicken w/veggies, rice, and soft drink

DTD
WPE: chicken fingers, mac & cheese (the GOOD stuff), cheese OR pepperoni pizza
EOS: PB&J, grilled cheese, turkey and swiss, pizza sandwich
Food Quest (in Disney Quest, requires admission): pasta, burger, hot dog
Cooke's: fish, battered chicken skewer, baby sausages, all with chips (fries)

TS options are better...and I'd do a lot of buffets with kids, then they can have whatever they want.
