No issues making FP for Oct 3-7 getaway

My window opened this morning for making FP for my Oct 3-7 trip with my college aged son. No issues with the Disney website (used my laptop). I was able to secure FOP at AK on 60+3 at 2:35pm. Also was able to get SDD at HS at 2:25pm on 60+4. Excited to squeeze in this mother-son trip over his college's "Fall long weekend". We are especially excited to experience MNSSHP for the first time on 10/4.

I'm going the month earlier and had made my FPs last month but I went in to see if I could change a few and was surprised to see that there were still some times available for SDD. Maybe someone just gave them up but I was still surprised. Have a great trip!

I am also waiting to see if the park hours change closer to our trip date. We had a trip earlier this year (Feb 2018), and the park hours got extended, which opened up more FP availability. Have to keep watching . . .

Yay. This gives me hope! Taking fall trip with my daughter on her college break. Our fp day is Monday!

My FP day opened up this morning for our 2-person long weekend getaway. I was unable to get SDD at 60+2 for any time of the day. This was the second FP I tried for; the first was FoP at 60+3 and i was able to get it (earliest was 11am). I was also unable to get 7DMT at 60, so I focused on frontierland and purchased EMM one morning instead. After getting the rest of my FPs, I kept trying to modify our TSM to SDD, but I've stopped for now. I'll keep trying, but if I can't we'll standby it.

Early Morning Magic - guests can enter MK pre-park opening at 7:45am and can ride 7DMT, Peter Pan, and Winnie the Pooh (possibly carousel and/or IASW sometimes, but that is only rarely reported), plus a breakfast is included. Edited to add that carousel and IASW are not part of EMM and while may be open, seems reportedly rare.

Today was our 60 day mark. We got FP for FOP, 60 +3 afternoon and 7D, 60 +2, also afternoon. We are October 5-9, DD Fall Break form college. It was a bit stressful. It was saying we had our selections for a day that we didn't. I called Disney IT and the first thing it said was log out and log back in. I did that while on hold and it was corrected and I was able to do our MK day, so I hung up! I was done by 7:25.

Popular time for college breaks! Happy that you got the attractions you wanted. Even though some of my FP for the popular attractions are later in the day than I had hoped for, I figured I cannot be too picky for a four day trip!

Same! We will have fun because we are at Disney! If it's crowded or hot, it won't matter. It's a quick trip we just decided on a few weeks ago!

If you've already booked your 3 for the day, how do you look at availability to see if you want to change one? I would like to see what my options are without canceling what I have.

It is pretty easy to look at availability. Go into your "My Disney Experience" account. Select "FastPass+". Click on "view details" for one of the fast passes that you may wish to modify. Click "modify". Select your party. Click "next". The site will show various options available. You can modify if you wish. If you don't want to modify your existing fast pass, you would just then click "start over" at the bottom of the screen, and then click "x".

I made mine today for Oct 5 - Oct 13. It was super glitchy to start with. I logged out and back in a few times. But eventually got everything I wanted includding SDD, ***, FOP. I used my laptop and the app on my phone.

You all had better luck than I did. We are only doing 2 park days, on Columbus Day weekend, with day 60 being one of the park days. No luck at 60 or 60+1 for either SDD or FOP. We leave this Thursday for a before-school-starts trip and got everything we wanted, so we will make the best of the October trip. I figured it would be tight but not quite that tight for FPs. It is a holiday weekend, which we usually avoid, and we only have 2 park days, so that was just a bad combination. I have had decent luck modifying later and getting what we were wanting, so I haven’t given up hope yet! But October is looking to be BUSY!

I was making changes and was able to see availability on dates I was changing. You go in as your are making a change and then it will pop up other times - you can make a change or you can cancel so the change is not made.
