No Hot Water @ BCV

We have been fine. Will return in December for a hot tub soak ☺️ Will take our youngest grans next October...wish BCV was being rehabbed. I may go to the condo meeting and ask where the funds for our BCV went to....if they want to build at VWL, doesn't mean they HAD to send them to the BCV...

Glad all is well. Grand kids are great aren't they?
I hear you on the BCV. Was not a happy camper when I heard it was postponed. Less than thrilled with the pictures of the new decor, but the villas are in need of rehab. Keep us updated on any word of BCV at the condo meeting.

The point on the hot water question was it is all relevant to what one is used to. We had to have maintenance come fix our AC on our recent stay because obviously the previous guest had vandalized the thermostat because they considered anything above 68 degrees in the room as too hot for them.

We on the other hand would never want it colder than 66 and only then briefly. We keep our home at 68 or above.

Took quite awhile (like 5 minutes) for our water to warm up when we were at BCV (also on the 3rd floor, if that matters) a few weeks ago.

This happened to us at BW last year. You literally had to let it run for 5-6 minutes for it to be acceptable enough to use for a shower. I checked with the front desk a few times and by day 3 of my 4 day trip it only "took" 2-3 minutes to heat up to an actual hot level. This kind of turned me off to a new BW reservation.I hope Disney reclaims a lot of their water because I kept thinking what a waste this was.

Hot, the opposite of cold. :confused3

Wasn't nasty at all. Hence the :confused3 confused smiley.

But thanks for reminding me why I stopped posting on the Disboards. And no, I'm not being nasty, I'm being honest.

:hippie:Peace

Yes you were being nasty. Why else would you feel the need to explain that the opposite of cold is hot?

Not exactly sure what you mean by "hot" water but with our numerous stays at BCV, we have never really had "hot" water in the shower. It's warm enough but never truly has been hot. We pretty regularly stay on the second floor.

No, I wasn't. See your quote above. You asked. I could not figure out why you didn't understand no hot water. Again, that's why I used the confused smiley.

O.k., sorry I mistook your comment. My apologies.

I bet the storm knocked out the flimaflangerbajinga on the Hot Water Heater, and they put the water system on bypass while they fixed it. Then they forgot to take it off bypass when they were done. Hence the "surprise" when you reported it was still out and rather quick "repair" the second time.

Yup, I bet it was the flimaflangerbajinga.:rotfl2:
