I'm so bummed right now. I had my whole schedule set and really thought there would be a HHN on 10/1 - and now there's not! :furious: I'm at WDW the week of 9/30 -10/7 and only have 9/30 or 10/6 to do it. It stinks b/c 9/30 I'm supposed to be doing the luau and 10/6 the fantasmic dinner package. I'm probably going to have to move things around and do it 9/30. Oh well. Does it seem like less nights this year?

Last year it was the same, the first sunday of oct. they did not have HHN
I belive it was only 19 nights last year as well.

Yeah, it was the same way last year .. I wanted to go the first Sunday but it wasn't happening so I just went Saturday - I can say .. get there early and you'll be good, the wait times were low to none at first, but pretty crowded near the end (I couldn't give you wait times, since I left when it started getting crowded since we did two houses before it even opened)

That does stink! I've had reservations for the 7th since January assuming that would actually be the 2nd weekend.

I've been to HHN more times than I can count but never opening weekend. How are the crowds comparatively?

 Just read the dates thread

Sorry your plans are not working out RadioFanatic I know how it is to plan early for these things!

It was generally small crowds when I went on Saturday the 1st. Crowds are usually light during opening weekend, but the scareactors aren't generally top notch though they were pretty well when we went (and you also aren't given the peak night stuff, since opening weekend counts as nonpeak)
