No gravy and biscuits at POP?

I just checked their breakfast menu, and it isn't listed. It may seem silly, but it's one thing I look forward to whenever we travel south of here. Unless I make it myself, there's no decent gravy for biscuits in a 2 or 3 hundred mile radius of here!

Definitely not at Pop. They have eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast, pancakes and waffles. I was hoping for some biscuits and gravy also.

They do have fruit choices and muffins/breakfast breads also.

I remember having it once at the breakfast buffet at Trail's End at FW. It was great! If you look around on the menus at allears.net you may find a place that has biscuits and gravy. I notice, for example, the Concourse Steak House serves and entree that includes sausage gravy and a biscuit.

Boatwright's does as well. It's truly a Southern specialty, and so limited in availability since more than half of all WDW guests come from the Northeast and Midwest.

BF will be disappointed - I've lived in the south but hate them, he likes them and they aren't readily available in NY. He even tried and liked grtis last year.
Have you looked at the restaurants at POR/FQ, with a southern theme, they might have bisquits and gravy.

I'm looking forward to good "sweet tea". Can't get that in NY at all.

Boatwright's is at POR. They used to have it as a breakfast entree, but it is now just a side dish, listed as "Biscuits and Gravy" instead of "Sausage Gravy and Biscuits," as would be proper, so I suspect the quality is no longer that high.

A quick check of the online menus indicates that the best bets may be at the Whispering Canyon, Grand Floridian Cafe, Trail's End, and Concorse Steakhouse.

My advice would be to hit a Cracker Barrel one day for some good biscuits and gravy! =)

(In my best Homer Simpson voice...) Mmmmm.... Cracker Barrel.

Yeah, I was just going to suggest Cracker Barrel. Frankly, if the only biscuits and gravy you get is at WDW then you are really missing out. I had them at POFQ and my little TX'n palate was NOT amused :)

Cracker Barrel has the yummiest biscuits, though the gravy is just fair. Now if you can find a place that serves real sausage gravy, then mmmmmmmmmm. Now there's some good eats (with apologies to Alton).

As for sweet tea, our Chickfila's serve it down here (though so sweet I have to cut it with some regular tea). Do they not offer it at the CFA's in other states?

Yep, I just checked the Trail's End menu and they still serve it. Sausage gravy and biscuits! Mmmm...

The problem is that the recipe is missing an ingredient: An authentic Southern cook.

Luckily for me I married one. :)

Trails End breakfast is great - it's a favorite of ours, real comfort food!

We eat biscuits (or toast) and gravy all the time at home. Disney's version is rather lackluster. I would agree with the suggestions above to visit Cracker Barrel. If you don't have a car and are determined to partake of this "treat," try splitting the breakfast platter and an order of biscuits and gravy at Tusker House. Most other places serve link sausage rather than the patties. Definitely avoid the biscuits and gravy at Sports. I had it last week, and it was totally tasteless.
