No Friday Nights?

I have tried every week for the month of October and through the first 2 weeks of November (online and through a phone call) and there are no spots available in the campground for Friday nights (non tent). I am trying to do a Saturday-Saturday reservation but they all fail. Saturday-Friday works fine. It just seems odd for a campground for one night of the week to always be booked. Does anyone else find this unusual?

Fall weekends are a popular time for sure. The closer we get the tighter supply becomes.

Also, sometimes you have to reserve a long period then call back the next day to drop unwanted days (leaving your weekend). Disney's ressie system won't show a 2-night weekend as available but it WILL sometimes show those two days available as part of a 14-day request.

We all have to play this game. So you do too.

Still seems odd to me that only Friday night would run out if people were just trying to get weekends reserved. It 'implies' there are some people (each weekend) are staying just one night. I tried longer reservation options (14 and 21 days) with no luck....guess may have to shorten the trip and do a Saturday-Friday trip instead...

Well, I may have spoken too soon. If I choose campground as a general option, it can't find camp sites. If I choose a more specific camp site option then it finds some availability (just not the exact week). Well, at least I have options now.

Okay didn't know you knew to try longer.

I would suggest to take what you can get now (Saturday to Friday) then be diligent about calling to see if you can get that last Saturday added on. There tends to be activity at the 45 day out mark and 5 day out mark when various cancellation penalty windows pass plus normal ins and outs.

Persistence usually pays off. Here's some pixie dust your way hoping you get that last day. pixiedust:
