No free dining plan

We are going to WDW from Dec. 5-10 this year and I've noticed they are offering free dining the week before and after. Do you think it's because pop Warner will be there? I was just wondering why this time frame was excluded. Most of the rest. I called to make readies at were basically booked all week.

Not sure but if you can check in a day or two earlier (when it would fall under free dining time) then you can get free dining for your whole stay.

I believe that is also the week that a lot of Disney travel agents book to get together as well as the taping of the Christmas parade at MK. Basically it means it will be busy.
