No FPs for 7DMT 60+2 days out!?!

I was on my laptop at 7am this morning. I took care of FOP FPs first. Then I moved to FEA. Then 7DMT. There weren't any FPs for left for 7DMT!!! I even tried splitting my part up. I can't believe it. I hadn't seen people mentioning that lately. Is this typical? Do you think they'll release more fastpasses? I'm really not sure what to do. I can only rearrange our plans so much.

No. Keep trying regularly though and you'll probably get what you're looking for.

I had a hard time getting it at 60+2 as well, but did get it on 60+3, which was a party night, at 4:30. We ended up getting on at rope drop on the day we couldn't get a FP for it.

you don't see any at all for that day or any within a particular time frame that you are looking? it's certainly possible to not find them at the exact time you want but, especially at 60 days out, i'd expect decent availability across the day. How big of a group?

Odd. My 60 day window opened on 9/29. I didn't have a problem getting 7DMT.

IIRC, there were several times available on each of the days I checked. I just assumed that its popularity was finally going down a bit. (It's not my favorite and I usually skip it if my DH & I are traveling without guests).

Very strange. Our last trip was July 2016, staying offsite with no throwaway night and I was able to get 7DMT at 7am 30 days out for a party of 8 in the early/mid afternoon both of our MK days.

I didn't get a FP for SDMT either BUT when we entered the park this past Thurs I was able to modify my FP selections and it pick it up (for 4 people) on the MDE app. My guess is that a lot of people book it just in case and then end up rope dropping it and cancel the FP.

I didn't have any trouble getting 7DMT a few days after my FP window opened.
Keep looking, hopefully you'll get what you want!

Don't be disheartened, I'd just look a couple of times each day in the run up - you'll soon find a fp for it

I did get it at my 60 day window. But it was the only one available for a party of 6 on that day. Been trying and can't modify to a better time either. So I booked a early breakfast at Be our Guest, which gives you early access by a few minutes, depending on what else is going on. You would have to do some research. But my understanding is you are lead to this ride at rope drop, beating the crowd. It's a thought..........I know it will be my sons favorite, so had to make sure we could get on a few times.

I initially could not get 7DMT at all at 60+1 for 2 but ended up getting it later that day, still not the time I wanted but will make it work.

I had a similar experience on Friday when my FP window opened, for a party of 4. I really struggled to find FEA at the time we wanted (earliest I could get was 6 p.m.!) at 60+2, and I could also only find 7DMT in the evening for 60+3, which really messed up my plans to park hop. I've been checking frequently and haven't had luck finding anything earlier. Here's hoping things open up in the next couple of months!

Are these all party days? I'm wondering if that's the issue. I couldn't get BOG lunches the 2 party days I'm going (and still haven't found any.)

I think there is just so much less to go around those days.

I had a hard time with the times. Not much variety. I keep trying to change it but there's nothing available. I think it's bc Spalsh is closed (at least for my trip). My FP opened 9/10 and it's not for a party day.

They changed the opening hours of the park about 3 weeks before to an hour earlier and opened up a bunch more FP and I got mine then. Keep checking the opening time as you get closer. I saw it change one evening but no more fast passes were added then, but when I woke up at 6 there were lots!

Do people hoard these as well as the restaurant reservations? I’ve heard stories how people have several accounts for dining and make multiple reservations for each meal. So wouldn’t it possible to do that for fast passes as well? I’m scared for my upcoming day to book!

It's alot harder to 'hoard' FP because you can only make them 60 days out if you have tickets actually linked to your account with an onsite hotel stay. My guess is that there are alot less FP to go around in MK because the party days cause the park to close early. Also, I will say that when I did FP this past Tuesday, the website was incredibly glitchy. It was telling me that there were no FP for day 65 of our trip for any princess meet & greets (yeah, right!) After awhile, it resolved itself, but it was very frustrating.

They still pop up every once in a while. I've been trying to move November 15th earlier. We initially couldn't get one at all that day but late on my FP day got one for the evening. One just popped up tonight (day 45). It was earlier but actually even less convenient--but if I didn't have one I would have grabbed it like that...

The website was INCREDIBLY glitchy. I had much more luck on MDE. I was only able to get FEA in the evening, but at least I got it. We plan to leave the park for a dinner break and then come back for Illuminations. My FEA FP will at least give us something else to do in the evening.

The day I'm trying to get 7DMT is a party night, so maybe that's it? I was just shocked that I could get FOP but not 7DMT. I was all prepared to be disappointed about FOP, but it was actually easier. Weird.

This has just been a frustrating trip to plan in general. ADRs and now FPs have been hard to get. I'm a bit worried the crowds will be way worse than the crowd predictor calendars are posting. Oh well. It's going to be Christmas at Disney, and my kids are young enough and out of the loop enough that they won't be disappointed missing certain rides. We'll get plenty in to have a good time. I just wish it was easier.
