No FP+ for Primeval Whirl? Really?

So our 60 day FP+ window opened at midnight Saturday night. I was able to get everything I wanted for our December trip, including 7DMT three times, but no Primeval Whirl or Triceratop Spin? Really? I know Primeval Whirl is under refurb but it is scheduled to be back open weeks before our trip. Anyone able to FP+ these is Dec? My oldest son loves PW and my youngest loves Triceratop Spin so it kind of threw off my FP+ plans.

many times disney will not allow for FP+ selections of an attraction that is currently closed for refurb until it reopens so that they don't have to then disappoint people by changing their FP+ selection if the refurb is not complete on time.

We had one booked for Primeval Whirl for this past August. A few weeks before the trip I got an email that it was no longer available. They scheduled the refurb and cancelled our fastpasses. The kids were so disappointed. I guess maybe they are playingg it safe by not offering FPs until it is done.

I read somewhere that Primeval whirl could be open and still not have fastpass, because it's on a separate track and that track could still be closed even if the ride is running.

Triceratop Spin is not a FP attraction.

Triceratop Spin is not a FP+ ride that's why you can't get one.
