No Foolin' Around challenge - Final Standings and Results!

I'm in :)
I'm leaving for a cruise on April 1 and want to loose 8 pounds prior to the cruise. I will challenge myself to loose 10! It will be difficult in a little over a month but I am determined. I have been on the treadmill and seriously watching my WW points although I can't figure out the Popcorn anymore. Whatever points I have left at the end of the day, is what my lite popcorn is for a snack at night LOL :) I wish everyone luck!! :) :)

I am SOOOO excited! I can't believe it, but 51 WISHers have signed up for this challenge. Way to go!

I'm also excited because I made three pounds disappear this week - which puts me at 3/12 for the challenge, and I get to go GOLD! Oh yeah! :cool:

Lost a pound, then gained FIVE. (Yes, in two days - see my thread. :rolleyes: ) So how do I show that? -4 / 7 ???
 

I lost 2.5 pounds!! That's 2.5/10. :D

April, congrats on your new clippie!!

MHopkins2, don't worry, those 5 pounds will be gone in no time.
 
Ok, I'm a week late here but that's OK - I just got my 10 pound clippie today and I've lost 12.5 pounds total so far - soo my goal by April 1 is to lose another 10. That would be 22.5 total. If I can lose just two pounds a week for the next 5 weeks I'll be able to accomplish that goal. I hope that I can do that. Thanks for the extra motivation. -- ::MinnieMo
 
but I lost 2 lbs. And that's just from this past Sunday!:D Woooohoooooo!!!

Thanks for the challenge April. It's just the kick that I needed. The spring challenge wasn't going to work for me (just too far to go) so this one was great.

MHopkins2 - don't worry about it. You couldn't have gained 5 lbs of FAT, I bet it will come off in a matter of a few days if you stick to your plan. You'll be OK.
 
I was up 1/2 pound this week. :( Not a good start to the challenge, but I wasn't really surprised. I've had good losses for the last 2 weeks and that hardly ever happens. Hopefully next week will be better.

Congrats on going gold. April!! What a great beginning!! Pamela & Bubie you both did great, too!!! Way to go!!

MHopkins, I'll punch the Bloat Fairy for you if I catch up with her/him/it!! That 5 pounds is just water, it'll be gone soon.

I'm off to exercise!! I got a freebie day off from work today becuase of snow, so I'm going to put it to good use!!

I am at 157 this morning!! So that is 1 pound gone this week!! I am so excited--we are all kicking some serious butt!!
 
ummmmm.....I have to confess that I WIMPED OUT and didn't get weighed this morning at the gym.....I promise to do it tomorrow a.m. and post the news, be it good or bad (I haven't been very diligent this week.....)
 
I've had a really good week!! ::yes:: I survived my DD's birthday party and all the yummy food and birthday cake that went along with it :hyper: I've also been making cakes with my DD's and I was able to just eat one little cake. Previously cake had been one of my biggest downfalls so I have indeed made progress!

I lost 5lbs this week, so that puts me at 5/10, so I'm already half way to my goal. I was also able to get a new clippie :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

It sounds like everyone is off to a great start. I am very excited to be checking in for the very first time. I started late in the challenge but I have lost 4lbs. since Monday. I know it's probably water weight but that is good enough for me. So I guess that makes me 4/12. Keep up the good work everyone!

I lost 1 lb this week, so that makes me 1/8 for the April Fools challenge.
 
I've been stuck for so long that I can hardly believe I've lost 1 lb so far on this challenge! :sunny: I knew I'd break through that plateau sooner or later. This shows me that persistence & sticking to my plan do pay off. :teeth: I was also able to wear a smaller pair of jeans yesterday. They are supposed to be the same size as the ones I've been wearing, but they had been way too tight until now. I just measured my waist & found that it's 1 inch smaller! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hi everyone,
Pulled the scale back out of the cabinet just for today, and I found I have lost 1.5lbs. :p So you can put me down as
1.5/6. It really helped having this challenge for motivation, and I am glad I went with 1lb per week, which is reasonable for me and not overwhelming. It makes it easier to take it a day at a time and enjoy the big picture at the end. Thanks everyone!:wave2:

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I can collect my frist clippie today. Yeah:Pinkbounc
 
April thank you very much for putting me down for the challenge.
I did loose 2 pounds in the last week and a half but I just signed up for Wish yesterday so does that mean I have to start my week yesterday? Did that make sense? So, if I started yesterday, I didn't loose anything :(
Hopefully I'll have more to report next week :)
 
Hi everyone!

I cheated and weighed myself this morning. I'm down 1 pound and considering TOM starts any time now and I'm using heavy weights in my workouts - I'm pretty pleased. That makes my total loss 35 pounds! I won't claim my 35 pound clippie just yet because my usual weigh in is Sunday. So my stats are: 1/10 so far and hopefully I'll be able to report more after my official weigh in on Sunday.

Note to self: Stay off the scale!!!! :)

Everyone is doing a great job! I hope we can get a total of weight lost at the end of the challenge to see how well we WISHers have done. I may not reach my 10 pound goal but it's still fun trying!
 
js, since you just started this challenge yesterday, I would start with your weight from yesterday (or close to it), and base your challenge goal off of that weight. So you probably don't have much to report today (unless you managed to lose weight since yesterday ;) ), but I'll look for your check-in next week!
