Sat Sep 18th
Everyone had gone to bed at a decent hour the night before so we were all very excited to wake up for a plane ride to The Happiest Place on Earth. I packed the last few things, made the girls eat a banana and we were off to the airport.. Did curbside check in and made it through security. Made a quick stop at Starbucks for muffins, hot chocolate and a smoothie. I grabbed a diet coke for me next door. We were boarding group B but the gate agent let me in at the end of A. When we first entered the plane the flight attendant asked the girls if they wanted to say hi to the pilots. Of course they did. So they went in the cockpit and I went down the aisle to find seats. When they were done with their visit the flight attendant announced " Hey Mom with the cute girls in the pink WDW shirts, they are on their way back to you" It was a fun way to start our trip. THe girls watched a movie for the first part of the flight and had some snacks. We had an hour layover in Nashville where I thought we could get off the plane to grab some food. Nope, we were able to move up in the plane though. Cayley decided to rest "just when the plane takes off" which was actually until the plane came down! Avery and I read. She read an entire Rainbow Fairies book during the 2 flights. We landed and made our way over to side B. Had a few first timers following us. The line for CSR was pretty short and we were loaded up and ready to go in about 15 min.
There were people in front of us blocking my view of the sign so no pics. CSR was the first stop. Off the bus we went. We all loved the fountain. I did online check in so we went over there. The CM was a young guy who seemed a little nervous. I had requested Cabanas 9A. He showed me a pic on the map of our room in Ranchos somewhere. I told him I had heard they were painting out there (thnks KatMark) and could we have somewhere a little closer. We were then given Casitas 5. We walked over there with our carry ons etc. It was a bit of a hike with all our stuff but not bad. We found our room on the top floor-YAY. it had a lovely view of the parking lot-sorry no pic. I did not request a water view so no biggie. We dumped our stuff and made our way to Pepper Market for dinner.
It was our first time there and it was a little confusing. The guy doing the kids meals stamped the card 4 times instead of 2. I tried to tell hime I though it was to many but he walked away. Okey dokey. I had a steak burrito which was huge. I am a big soda drinker-hey everyone needs a vice right so they having to wait for refills was a little bit of a pain. When we left I explained to the cashier how the guy had over stamped-she just crossed 2 0ff. We filled our mugs and headed back to the room to get into swim stuff.
We got back to the room but no luggage. We had arrived at CSR around 6p and it was now 8p so I was not worried-yet. I had packed the swim suits in the carry ons. Off we ventured over to the quiet pool. There were a few people there including KayleesMomXO-a lovely Dis'er. We had a nice conversation-it was their last day and my Cayley had fun jumping around with her Hubby. No stranger danger from her. We left the pool a little after 9 and saw a little of Illuminations over the lake. We arrived back at the room around 930p and still no luggage. I had the girls watch a little Stacey and I called luggage services about 10p. I was disconnected x2, routed to the wrong places x2 and had no answer. I put the girls in the tub and was going to call again when there was a knock at the door. Our luggage had arrived-delivered by a poor much older guy with his wrist in a brace and limping. He was very kind but looked very worn out. I thanked and tipped him. Avery was going a little crazy in the tub. Sliding down the little ledge and screaming. Both not ok. She got a talking to and both girls went to bed. I unpacked a little and was in bed myself by 1130p-830p our time.
Up next, our first fabulous Dis Meet!!!!

Sounds like a great start to the trip! How fun that the girls were able to meet the pilots on the plane, and they look very excited to be on the Magical Express! What a shame it took so long to get your luggage! Can't wait to see what was planned for the next day!

How very nice of the flight attendant to allow your girls to meet the pilot. I am sure that was a hit with them.
It sounds like you are happy with the CSR so far even though were was a little glitch in Pepper Market and your luggage being delivered a little late. That could happen at any resort though.

Yes, I want to do a report , planned on doing it since we have got back but just haven't got the time yet to start ! We are soo busy w/ this move that the report may have to wait till we get settled in our new house in California , so sometime at the beginning of November
