No fireworks music at resorts?

Someone just told me that they no longer pipe the music in to the resort locations where you could see the MK fireworks. Is this true? For the Poly beach and the Contemporary in particular?

I can't speak to the Poly, but they definitely still pipe in the music at the Contemporary on the 4th floor deck, the California Grill deck and the 16th floor deck at Bay Lake Tower, at least as of two weeks ago.

You cant seem to get the music on TV in the rooms anymore. I was disappointed and missed it at both a Poly stay, and my BLT theme park room a few weeks ago.

The music on the Poly beach has been pretty faint since the pool re-do a couple of years ago. It's there, just not very loud. The closer you stand to the Hawaii building the better to get the best sound. Too far out on the beach and you could easily be in a spot with no/very low volume.

Good to know about Contemporary. We will be visiting the California Grill for dinner.

We watched Wishes from the Poly beach last Tuesday. Music was piped in but very faint.

Because they took out speakers when they redid the pool. They have sound over by the Hawaii building for the CL guests so it's hard to hear out on the beach. It is however, played on the patio for Trader Sam's. We watch there often

They pipe in the music at the Wilderness Lodge next to Geyser Point Bar and Grill. They also pipe in the music at Narcoossee's and in front of Gasparilla's at the Grand Floridian.
