No Fantasmic Dinner Package after 2/28

Just tried to make a reservation for the Fantasmic Dinner package for March and was told it will no longer be available for dates after 2/28/03. She said its possible they could continue it at some point, but as of now they didnt know of any plans to do so. Just thought I would post the latest info on this.

Interesting.
That package was mostly meant to increase business at the various MGM restaurants.
Can't say I'm sad to see this--maybe the Brown Derby will return to the nice restaurant it used to be...
Now if they can only locate the piano player and reopen Catwalk full time--.

Hmmm??? Im wondering if this means it will go back to the former way of doing it, where you can only book in person, 7 days in advance, and only have to order an entree for the actual price.
That would be nice.

I was thinking the same thing.

Or could it mean they just aren't doing it for the Spring Break, Easter vacation period?

They seem to do this every so often. If it's something you like don't worry odds are in your favor it will return. If it's something you don't like........then you get to enjoy a few months without it

I thought that (except for this past Xmas) I had read they do not offer the Fantasmic Dinner package during Peak Seasons.

When does peak season start this year? (I think it ends April 27th)

What we did the last trip was book the Brown Derby for Dinner
before we left home and when we got to checkin had them change it to a Fantasmic Dinner Package - no problem.

You shouldn't have a problem.
