Hello!
On our June trip I am not sure we will be using our last day tickets. How far in advance do I have to ADD the no expiration option?? Can you tell me how much it will cost for 2 adults and one 6 year old??:lovestruc

There's a really good sticky on the theme park board that will answer about any question you can come up with. You will have to pay the no exp price for however many days your tickets are, and you can do it (I believe) at any time within 14 days of first use. I am sure someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.

If I understand you correctly, it's just one day of your tickets you won't use? You might consider throwing them out. If you buy a 6 day park hopper, adding a 7th day is only a couple of dollars more, but buying the no-expiration option is a lot more than that.

Just to put everything together in one post.

You can add the NE option anytime within 14 days of first use.

Though you certainly can do it, it may be very expensive. You have to add NE for the entire length of the ticket not just the left over days.

Depending on the length of the ticket that one day can cost any where from $17 to $200.

Even if it seems like you are saving money on this transaction, if the days left don't cover the entire next vacation they will be very expensive.

Say you are saving two days for your next trip and it only cost you $80 per ticket to do so.

If you use those 2 days to complete another 7 day trip and only buy a 5 day ticket you have lost $72 dollars on the deal. Because adding those extra days to your second 5 day ticket would have only cost you $6.

I hope I've explained this OK. Someone did it much better than me a few days ago with better math.

If you are going on the buy 4 get 3 package deal, by adding the non expiry before you go you only pay the cost of the 4 day ticket. If you wait until you get there you will pay the amount of the 7 day ticket. In the past I have waited and added it when I get to Disney, but after having this explained to me and working the numbers it made good since. We are only using 3 days this time, so that leaves us with 4 park days for the next trip.

Did you buy the non-expiry when you originally purchased, or did you call and add it later?

I'm wanting to do this, and wondering if they'll still give me the better rate. Our trip is in 3 weeks.

You can upgrade park tix at any time up to 14 days after first use. You don't need to alter your reservation. You can do it once you get there if you decide to.

And just to reiterate (since it's often asked) you pay for the non-expire add-on based on the original number of days on your tix - not just however many days you don't use.
