No expiration on tickets questions....

We're getting the 5 day hoppers when we all visit in July (it was $1.07 extra per ticket, couldn't turn it down!) but we'll only be there 5 days and may go to Sea World or US for one day.... can we decide to buy the "no expiration" option on the last day if we have any days left? If so, how much does it cost per ticket? And will the person ON the ticket have to be the one to use it if we return? Thanks muchous!

You can buy the expiration at the end of the trip (not sure of cost, hopefully someone else will jump in) but since the person must sign the ticket and use biometrics to enter the park they are the only one that can use the ticket on future trips.

Tickets without the "no expiration" option expire 14 days after first use. As long as you add the option prior to that 14th day, you're fine. However, they base the price of the option on the original length of the ticket, not on how many days are left. So you'll be paying $35 per ticket for "no expiration", even if you only have one day left.

And yes ... the person whose name is ON the ticket must use it during future visits. It is that person's biometric info that has been scanned in and attached to that ticket, so no one else can use it.

I think the add on for no expiration is about $100.00 so if you only have 1 day left probably not worth it, however if you can afford to buy the 10 day $100 for the 6 days is a good deal.

When you add non=expiration to your 5 day ticket for $35 you can at the same time add a 6'th day for $14., a 7'th day for $14., and three more days for $60. (You can stop with the 8'th day only but I don't recommend that for $51. more.)

You are better off adding as many days now as you can compared with buying a new ticket to finish your next vacation with.
