Due to my blunder, I forgot to pass along the information that we had moved and DCL sent the docs to the old address and were promptly "returned to sender" (actually it took a month to return them, so I can't figure out how our mail forwarding didn't ever get the stuff to us...oh well)

Anyway, we leave monday and our TA said we can do a port pick-up. I have a couple questions
1) what is actually contained within the docs? what sort of paperwork will we need to fill out there?

2) should we plan to arrive even earlier (We were aiming for 11:15 or so)

3) should we direct ourselves to a certain counter?

any help on this great t-day?? Thanks in advance

There are a few forms to fill out for each member of your traveling group.

I would arrive earlier if I were you. I am not exactly sure where you pick them up, I am guessing just get on one of the lines and tell the CM's your docs are waiting for you. If there are people behind you on line I don't think they would be too happy if you started filling them out on the line. they do have several round tables set up for filling out documents with CM's there to assist you.

Make sure you have your ID's and BC or passports readily available.

I'm not sure where you would pick them up but don't they check to see if you have documents before they even let you into the terminal?
You might have to ask someone before you are even allowed onto the property.

Call ahead and ask specifically where you need to pick them up.
I have our doc's here next to the computer so I will tell you what info you should have handy. If you write this all down ahead of time filling them out will be quick.
1. transfers agreement- I would assume you do not have transfers so that one can be egnored.
2. Minors traveling without parent. This form must be noterized so if you have a minor traveling with you that is not your own or you are not the gaurdian of have DCL fax you the form to getit noterized.
3. Payment Authorization form (one per cabin) they need your credit card number/experation date and who you are authorizing to charge
4. Embarkation form-need emergancy contact number question about if you have been to DW, WL before. Year of last trip. Have you sailed with DCL before if so how many times, have you cruised before if so when was last cruise ?
5.Departure info form if you are flying they want yo know the date / tme / airline and departure time as well as final destination. If leaving by car. They want to know if if will be parked at the pier (rental or personal) the license plate tag, make, model year, if rental the rental car agency and drop off
location. If resort stay provide the name of resort and confirmation number. If you are being picked up at port canaveral provide name and phone number. If other departure fill in. And they ask if you need transfers.
6.Cruise contract, just needs to be signed.
7.Bahnamas immigration form. Want to know name, sex, DOB country of birth, poassport number 9if you have one) home address, ship name, city where boarded. Travel agency and if you are visiting Nassau, freeport or other island (castaway cay is other island)
Hope this helps, Happy Thanksgiving! Ann

They don't check your docs before letting you into the terminal but they DO check ID vs a master list.

When we were at the terminal they had these big round "counters" which cubbyholes underneath the writing surface with blanks of all of the forms that you need to fill out in your docs. When we cruised last time, there were also CM's stationed at those tables to check that your docs were filled out correctly before you get in line so I'm sure they would be willing to make sure you have all of the parts that you need before you stand in line to find out that you don't.

The one thing you SHOULD call and ask is how to mark your luggage because luggage tags are ALSO in your docs.
