No docs from Disney- I am freaking out a little!

In the past, I have always booked directly through WDW and made all of my own ADRs, etc. after creating spreadsheets, etc. that listed EMH and I plotted our park choices and restaurant choices. Well, this year, I booked through Dreams Unlimited after hearing many here say they had wonderfully positive experiences. They gave me a great deal and I wouldn't have to map out and hunt down ADRs, so I was psyched!

But, our trip is in 53 days, my balance is due in 8 days and I have not received any documents from WDW confirming my reservation. ALso, the confirmation/reservation # given to me by Dreams Unlimited does not pull up a reservation on the WDW website.

Can anyone reassure me here? I am a bit of a control freak and a perfectionist and I need every I dotted and every T crossed and I am so worried this trip is not going to happen because I didn't take charge and do it myself!

BTW, I booked on August 19, so that should be plenty of time to get the WDW docs in.
 
Don't worry everything is fine. I have been using Dreams for 7 years now and have never had a problem. You won't receive anything until your paid in full and about 40 days out (I could be off by a few days on that so don't quote me on the 40.) I too tried looking it up through the Disney website when I first started booking with them and it didn't work either. Dreams is an awesome company to work with and I have had the pleasure of using the same TA everytime. Have a great trip and relax your trip is being handled by sme very special people.
 
When you book through a TA, they "own" your reservation. You will not recieve anything from Disney, nor will you be able to make changes with Disney to your reservation. Everything will be done through your TA, including any papers and confirmations. This is done to protect the TA and to avoid confusion as to who is responsible for any and all changes made.

When I emailed the person assigned to me, she said all my docs would come directly from Disney, not from DU. But, she did not say when to expect them. I just knew that, in the past, after paying my deposit, I always got a letter from WDW confirming everything listing the date and amount of my balance due, etc. But, it sounds like, from the poster above, that I won't get anything until I am paid in full. I think I'll just go ahead and pay so I can get the docs and have them in hand. I don't do nervous real well. :scared:
