Okay, all you experts out there:thumbsup2 I received our package details from AAA last week but there are no DME tags or info included. Should I call AAA or take care of this myself through DME? We are flying Airtran but now that I think of it, the AAA rep never asked about our flights. In your opinions, what would be the easiest way to remedy the situation and get our tags?

Is this for your September trip? Or is it for a later trip? If it is for your September trip, I would first call your AAA TA and ask him/her. I think that if you book through AAA, you have to have your TA contact DME.

Interesting, My AAA agent did not even ask if I wanted to use ME did not mention it AT ALL.

personally, i'd try calling DME first, worst case they'll say no. then go to AAA. but DME should be the easier of the 2 to work with, so might as well try them first. 866-599-0951

When I booked my trip for last October, I used my AAA TA and I believe that she asked me. Even if she didn't, I must have asked her because she booked my DME for me.

Thanks Everyone. And yes, this is for our September 1st trip so time is of the essence now, yahoo!

Last year our AAA agent forgot to call in our ME info. I called the number myself and just told them I had flight information for them. They put it all in and sent the ME info directly to me cutting out AAA as the middle man. I think it only took about a week for us to get our ME info from them.
