hi all im totally gutted we have had to postpone our disney xmas trip :sad1:

im so annoyed! we have had to do this, with the economy as it is and my husbands job being self employed we cannot take the risk of spending £5000 on a two week holiday (his words) :sad1:

we have moved our deposit till may so we can see how it goes but i had planned the whole holiday was looking forward to doing all of the xmas themed things like going to celebration, seeing gingerbread cottage the osborne lights etc

i feel like im being so spoilt over this :sad1: the kids arnt even taking it as badly as i am its just rubbish!!

what great things can i look forward to going in may 26th? i need something as close to totally empty parks to cheer me up! :rotfl:

I'm so sorry to read this  I'd be gutted too if we ever had to cancel a holiday but to be honest it's better to be sensible than have sleepless nights worrying about money. At least you've only postponed and not cancelled full stop.

Seeing as you were so looking forward to all the Christmassy things, would it be an option to postpone it until the Christmas after? Longer to save up too or is that not an option for the deposits.

awww i'm so sorry you can't go...:(
on the bright side your still getting to go but later :)

being self employed myself can under stand his decision, but we find out tomorrow if we have work. :scared1:
were booked on a cruise for Xmas/new year and skiing in feb. but we take the outlook life's too short so wont be cancelling.
but i can understand why he is taking the view he is.
well at least you have a nice may to look forward to bit warmer than December
Just wish work picks up for us all:hug:
Paul

:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

You will still have an amazing time in May and the weather will be nice and hot so you will be able to go to the water parks and use the villa pool loads more if thats where you decide to stay! The kids will love that! x x

Poor you, having to postpone your holiday  At least you will get to go later. At least in May, the weather will be a lot warmer! :cloud9: If you don't want to miss WDW at Christmas, why not just wait until the next Christmas? Or try in October to November- then you would be able to experience the last MNSSHP and the first MVMCP! (Besides, it's a whole lot warmer than December!)

thanks everyone!:thumbsup2 i know we will get to go another time at xmas and i have a few months wait till we go again its not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things i suppose! :confused3
AND ON A BRIGHT NOTE I CAN START LOOKING INTO ALL THE GOOD THINGS ON OFFER IN MAY! :thumbsup2 XX
