I called to book 2 rooms for Oct 27 & 28 at hrh and there were no discounts available but did not ask about apr as I don't have one. I have AAA & AARP, Entertainment Card.

Is it too early for discounts? I could get an annual pass if it was worth it. If I got it, could I use it for both rooms for the 2 nights? Are there times there are no apr rates available?

My rate was $274 & $294 std queen rooms. Appreciate any advice--thanks!

Yup. Still too early. It is awfully close to hallowe'en though and with the HHN, there may not be very many great deals at that time. Just keep watching. Deals come out a few months in advance.

Thanks for the reply---I'll just keep watching and hoping for a discount!

My daughter and son-in-law are coming along with us to go to the HHN for the first time, and due to all our schedules, I can't change the dates.

Thanks again!

Since you're coming down for HHN, hotel deals should be announced this summer usually called "Gory Getaways" at the onsite resorts. Just keep checking back.

I guess it's probably too early to know, but what should I expect for halloween parties for the dates Oct 26-28. 28 is a Friday,so I'm guessing will be a big night and I should plan on spending that day at IOA? Should I expect parties all 3 of those nights or just Friday? And what time does US close on a party night? If I remember correctly, IOA should be open regular hours, right?

with those dates, wed, thur, fri, hhn will probably be held on each night.

non peak nights/ weekdays, hhn closes at midnight.
peak nights/ fri and sat, hhn closes at 2 a.m.

the studios will close the park to the public at 5:00.
hhn guest with tickets can wait in the park at the stay and scream area.
they do not have to leave at 5:00.

ioa will probably close the regular time.
don't remember if it is 6 or 7:00 pm

Thanks. I'm guessing I should consider park-to-park passes then. Was going to do one full day at US and one full day at IOA. and then I have a one day park-to-park left over for the final day. We won't do the halloween party, so we'll have to try and avoid those crowds. So much to figure out prior to Oct! I'm guessing I should reserve my room at $224 a night on the stay more save more. I'm not betting on any further discounts with the halloween weekend.
