I think that is the most pathetic promo I have ever heard of. Gee, I'm gonna book a 4 or 5 night trip at full rack rate thus spending quite a sum of money because I'm not staying their demanded length of time, just so I can get a phone call from Mickey!!!

DH and I are going for 4 nights in mid February, and don't qualify for any of the promotions. That's not stopping us from going, but it would have been nice to at least get some type of room discount. So if you are not staying at least 7 nights, you get no discount at all. Except for that call from MICKEY. But that's Disney for ya.

I think this is in addition to any discounts out there. So if you book your 4/3 package now you will just get the added perk of call from Mickey.

I called about this, and then the cm basically told me how to go to the web page and order the call. You have to book your vacation within the dates to qualify, but it doesn't matter if you booked with a discount or not.

You can still use the 4/3 deal if you are not staying the full 7 nights. I was scouring mousesavers and I remembered reading that somewhere but I am not sure of the details. go to mousesavers and try to find it if you're interested.

Kris, There are package and room only discouts during your travel dates. THIS is in addition to the call from the Big Cheese!

O I can not use any of the codes that are out there- 4/3 is too long of a stay and the $49 room discount does not come with the girft card- and that only saves me $100 and the card is $200. I am really starting to think that the Mouse is not that hungry! OH well- I am wondering if we need to do a trip- I have 5 days till we have to pay. So I have some thinking to do- ok enough of my ranting/venting.

There are 3 deals out.
2 package codes...4/3 and a "new" discount for shorter stays and 1 room only general public code. From what I have been reading the "new" package discount may only help those that are staying in a value less then 7 nights. You will need to do the math. From your post it sounds like you have done the math and the discounts dont help you but it may for some.
