No DIS Con for me...(I think)

My Dh cannot switch his vacation days to include all of DIS con... WE will be down there from 11/26-12/7 though...I wish we could purchase individual events as we will have to leave early the am of the 7th... I would love to meet everyone... maybe I'll just "stalk" you all!

If DIS-Con II is anything like DIS-Con I, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to meet bunches of people at "unofficial" mini-meets. I think under Ray Sharpton's signature, and also under Patinmn's signature there is a listing of all the mini-meets we had going on throughout the convention.

Jan, I'm sorry to hear this. It's still so early in the year, I hope something will change for the better. If not, don't lose hope.....maybe the event packages will be different this year. Until we hear something, just hang tight. There's no use sweating about it...just go with the flow and ~*~hope~*~ for something better.

Although the "official" events were a lot of fun, I would have to agree that a lot of the "unofficial" DIScon 2001 events were just as great. Drink Around the World with SideshowBob, Adventurer's Club at Pleasure Island, Jellyrolls, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (to name a few) were all unofficial events, but were definitely a BIG part of DIScon. If you can't be part of the official activities due to scheduling, don't worry about it. I'm willing to bet that you'll still have a great time.

It seems like we got up early and went to bed late every day, there was so much to do.
