NO Dining Reservations can be made!

Reservations for dining can't be made for dates after February 21st until November 21st...I called last night. When I called two weeks ago, the CM said to call back in two weeks...Now, it is November 21st. She said no dining reservations could be made (for after those dates) unless it's for something like Chef Mickey's or Cinderella's Castle....She also asked if I had the Magic Your Way Dining Package and I told her that as of yet...I didn't, that I was "waiting" to see if there would be any type of discounts available...

Things sure have been changing....

I thought 90 days out was what has been in place for a few months now. I know it used to be 180, but I remember that they changed it to 90 except for those places you mentioned.

I wonder why the first CM told me to call back in two weeks? I guess I'll just keep watching the threads to see if there are any more changes...I didn't know they had changed it to 90 days...Where have I been???

CM and CRT was always 180. Originally you couldnt book past 1/25 until about 3 weeks ago they pushed it back to 2/22 until the end of november. This isnt anything new

I guess the first CM was new....Oh..well..I'll just wait until November to finalize my dining plans...I thought I'd be soooo smart...and get them all set...

It's not a permanent change. The reservation system is being revamped, and after that is finished, it will go back to 180 days. (At least, to my knowledge.) You will also be able to make ADR's online when they are finished. As far as I've seen, there is no official date for when they will be finished, and as others said, the booking window keeps changing, which is probably why she told you to call back in a couple weeks. Not that that means they will be finished in a couple weeks, but the CM was probably just being cautious.

I've been told different dates everytime I call. I was told by one to call back at the end of September, another told me to call in mid-October and another told me mid-November. The one I spoke to most recently told me that the best thing to do was call every monday morning and every friday afternoon in case they release more dates.

"Call back in two weeks" is sometimes code for please get off the phone so I can talk to someone who will help me meet my booking quota.

Ahhhh...Now..THAT'S an interesting concept...Never thought of that one...

I don't think that the CM was trying to get you off the phone..... I asked for an explaination and my CM told me that originally the revamped and updated NEW Dining rez system was sapposed to be completed in late OCT, but they have had some delays and now it is Nov. .... I have called on many occasions just to ask if the date has changed, and all if the CM's have been very nice. I think people should assume the positive , not the NEGATIVE.... The date could change again, the CM was just making sure you did not miss out on anything ..... She was looking out for your best interest .....

I need all the help I can get....I seem to be losing it lately...I certainly can't blame it on a "full moon" every day, though...

I do agree, however, lately, more than before...there seem to be more changes and different answers...I just have to learn to keep up with them.

yes, thanks to this little problem
we have decided to not bother making any ADR's.
we will either take our chances on a walk-up
or eat counter service.
we are only there 1 or 2 days, and we cannot decided where to eat anyways.

I just got off the phone with a very nice CM. I upgraded my package to include the DP and told her I would go Deluxe if I could get all my ADR's. She indicated to me to try last week of October, first week in November. Things are apparently moving along ahead of schedule so they are hoping to open it up before that November 21 date.
