No Dings for the past 3 days??

Am I the only one not getting Dinged this week???

I leave early AM before the first Ding, but usually it is still active when I get home from work, and usually there is a second one. Am I just missing a quick Ding, or what??

Limited Dings from BDL as well. Only one flight to San Diego on one Ding and one to Las Vegas on another.

I've gotten several Dings over the past few days. But come to think of it, I'm not sure any of them were for Orlando? I think they were mostly for flights involving Chicago, Austin or Los Angeles.

Very limited but I did receive them this week. Noticed that prices were up quite a bit from what they were offering earlier in the month. Trying to refrain anyway so it works for me......

May not be what you want to hear but I looked up flights that I booked last year and I booked a flight for Aug.3rd last year when flights opened on 2/24(may have been up for a day or two before that). I then had to wait until 2/19 to book my returns for 8/11.
I hate the waiting but love the airline and being able to watch for DINGS. Now it gets even tougher because we now have Air Tran and Jet Blue 15 minutes away vs an hour and a half for Southwest.

Thanks for the info. Will AirTran and Jet Blue offer lower rates in the future? What do you think? SW rates, I think, are still a bit high now. I hope that me waiting will be worth it.

Rex2 I am so glad that you replied because I just realized I made an error in my post. We booked on 2/24 for the last possible day which last year was 8/3. Then on 4/19 the remaining month of August opened and we could book our returns. It was a frustrating wait but worth it in the end. Our flight out was an amazing price. Our flight back was high but I booked it anyway and it never went down and we never got a Ding but we were still at least $100 cheaper than what anyone else was offering x'6 was great.....

If you search this forum people have compiled alot of info on Southwest as far as opening dates and history of Dings. Jet Blue and Air Tran have some good sale fares but can't touch a good Ding. Plus, I am very close to another Reward ticket and am trying to convince DH that we should head back to Hawaii with them. May be a losing battle this year with college looming. Best of luck with your planning.
