No deals in August??

Trying to find a deal for some nice friends who are on a budget for their August trip, cheapest I have found for them is $119 plus tax at Pop Century resort, this seems like alot of money for that resort. Does anyone know if any promo's are likely to be released for August?

Do we book this and then possibly switch if another deal comes out???

Right now there are no room only codes, but there is a package discount code ZXDB where you get 7 nights for the price of a 5 night dream maker package.

Do they have a car? Do they mind staying offsite? How many people? Kids?

I could also recommend http://www.skyauction.com and they could maybe get an offsite villa for $300-400 for the week.

Go to http://www.hotelkingdom.com and they can get a 2 bedroom villa at Cypress Pointe for $68 per night.

They could get the hotel royal plaza hotel at downtown disney for $89 or $99 per night, depending on when they were going in August through mousesavers.com

They could also choose to do priceline or hotwire and could get an offsite resort for around $70 per night (plus maybe resort fee of $10 or so). Check out http://www.betterbidding.com or http://www.biddingfortravel.com

Thanks for the replies, they are only going for 3 nights, no AAA membership and want to stay on site.


So far I found the All Star Sports for around $109 plus tax per night, I remember getting this resort for another friend 3 yrs ago in Aug (same month) for $49 a night !!!

Do they have or would they consider getting a Visa? There is a Disney Visa deal that ends today. I am right now tring to decide if we are going to add some days to our Aug cruise and looking for a deal too.
