No deals available!?!

I had booked a BC CL a few months ago for Jan.7-12. So when the 30% off came out this morning I called at 7ish and waiting almost 2hrs on hold. Finally, got through and found out their were no discounts at any deluxe hotel and at any level. I have been going to DW for years and never had a problem applying a room discount deal. Even in busier times of the year. So disappointed.

I received 30% off YC CL garden view for jan 11-15. It was with Disney visa on Monday. However, I was told at that time that there weren't any BC CL garden at that time. You could try orbitz. I wanted to try orbitz to stack discounts. 30 plus the current orbitz 15. However, yacht club CL is only offering the 15 right now. I will stay put.

I am surprised at the lack of available rooms that weekend too. I know it is the marathon. We went last year that weekend & I was able to book an AP discount at BC CL with no problem. I was checking rooms all summer but wanted to wait for a discount. It seems like all of a sudden, everything booked at both Y&B clubs. Literally, 1 day almost all categories were available & the next, nothing.

I'm hoping some people will change to other resorts for discounts & rooms will open up.

Orbitz has Poly GV CL for those dates for $387/night or WL Deluxe room CL for $443/night, but that was all I saw.

you have to wonder how up to capacity they really are, but Disney must think that they can fill the rooms without having to give a deal….stinks...

That is a very busy week. Disney had a Florida resident rate for CR and that got sold out before the sale even started. Also there was a TA with offering special deals during that time on BWI, WL and Poly (this was in early August).

I called first day of Visa cardholder sale and they had Poly, GF, and YC available with discounts, but not much left at GF.

Poly should still be available. They had almost every category left on the website this morning.

Yup - I couldn't call until Tuesday for the Visa Discount & there were no discounts available for AKL CL. I tried again this morning in case they held some back for general public, but still no. Club was going to be a one-time splurge for this trip, but its getting tougher to justify when its CL at full price vs Savannah view with the discount.

I would try again. I just pulled your dates up and under the room-only discount AKL, Poly and WL (including CL) are available.

Under S/P/D, AKL, AKV, GF, Poly and WL are available (again, some CL)

If you want to change, I would go online today and book a new reservation and then call and cancel your BC CL reservation in a few days when the phones die down.

I think we are seeing less and less inventory going into these discounts, so booking prior to the discount coming out and then having to stay on the phone for these ridiculously long wait times just to find out your resort and room category isn't available is so frustrating!

Went online and was able to book a standard room at the Poly with stay/play/dine for over $500 less than I had for my CL at the Beach. But, I will get Dining so. With 5 tables and 5 quick service meals for the 5 of us. I will probably save another $500. Will keep my original reservation. Just in case something opens up.

I was holding out for a discount, before booking anything. I agree room availability is getting limited with recent discounts, or so it seems. There seems to be a lot of booking and then hoping to add a discount later, going on as well. Disney sees occupancy rates are high, so they don't have to put certain rooms on sale.
