No DDE discount at Teppan Edo?

I just read on another thread that the DDE card is not accepted at Teppan Edo. Is this true? If so, any ideas why?

Maybe it's just because it's a new place and they'll add it. Or is it like Yak & Yeti or Rainforest Cafe, and not an actual "Disney" restaurant?

here is the list but you can always call and ask if it is included in the DDE plan..I think that the best way is always to ask.....

No DDE discount, but Mo-Fri you can get 10% AP discount at lunch.

Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining are not owned or run by Disney. Non-Disney restaurants have a choice as to whether or not they wish to participate in the dining plan or discount programs. The Japan restaurants have chosen not to accept DDE.

When Teppan Edo was Teppanyaki, they didn't accept DDE either, so I'd expect that they will not start accepting it down the road.
