No date set for Golden Mickey's on Magic

I'm on the first sailing out of dry dock in October. I'm hoping it will be on then.

alexandrew That is what I told my dh but he can't stand to get on the boat and feel like he has to get right off. I tried to do back to back 3 and 4 day but it seemed so much more than the 7 day and we have been to the Bahamas several times so he wouldn't go for it.
I am just keeping my figers crossed that they will put it on the Magic soon.

My bet is it'll be onboard after drydock. No point in bothering to move it onboard right this minute when they'll have the ship offfline for a good long while.

MarkRG that is what I origianlly thought but I specifically asked about it being on the 11/1 cruise so I don't think after her response that that is the case.The " I am sorry for any disappointment" seemed like a "no" to me or at least a "not likely".I can still hope though.

Keep in mind that the Golden Mickeys will have to coincide with the signing of a new theater cast. They will need time to learn the new show. I'm not sure how long the present cast has been on, although I think they came on right after we sailed for Memorial Day. If they're on six months, that puts them on through November.
But even though we're not sailing on the Magic in the near future, I hope that it does premiere over there soon too because it is a real treat!! You'll all love it!

What show will it replace?

The new theatre cast on the Magic just came on board in May. We sailed on 5/17 and the cast was onboard rehearshing. On the May 10th sailing the new cast started performing.
